I just saw an upcoming cover of a magazine showing Obama in Lincoln's stove top hat. And there are plans to serve Lincoln cuisine on inauguration day. I wonder if he remembers that not long after he was sworn in a bunch of states jumped ship and formed their own country?
Not to mention that little incident at Ford's theater.
What gets me is they issued something like 5,000 tickets for the swearing in but it is rumored that maybe only about half of those tickets will be honored and if the ticket holders don't get there way early they might not be allowed in due to the expected size of the crowd and crowd control.
So looking at it another way despite all the theatrics it seems like Obama has set himself up to be a disappointment from day 1.
I understand the Lincoln theme during the election but I wonder if he isn't taking this things a bit too far?
