I disagree, The Religious Right is what anchored the Republican Party for the last 8 years.

Before that Reagan and Bush combined 12 years of Republican Presidency's.

Contrast that with the years of Clinton and Carter.

This swinging from Democrat Leaders to Republican Leaders happens all the time.

Mark my words, if the Democratic Party don't make leaps and bounds as far as the ecomony goes, the Republicans will gain control of the House again.

He reacted rightly to the fact that she is a lesbian, and that goes against his Christian moral beliefs.

As Christians, we are told to separate ourselves from unrepentant sinners; whether they are family or heathen. If you read the story in the Christian rule book about the prodigal son, you will find that once the son realized he had made a mistake, his father welcomed him with open arms. I am sure that is what Alan Keyes would do if his daughter would get back on track. It is called tough love.

Alan Keyes contradicted reports about his having disowned his daughter in October 2007. In response to a caller, Keyes said that he loves his daughter and that she knows she has a home with him. I can't think of anything my children could do that I would eliminate them from my life.

Plus any man who's platform is based on religion and forced morals is inviting fascism to our door.
