ya know.

these people are NOT defending BP..as much a barack hussein would like you to believe.

These people are trying to get it through your head that barack hussein is overstepping his authority.

but useful idiot is what you are!..and boy do the liberals love you!

Take my advice, ...stop referring to yourself as an informed voter.

you're only embarrassing yourself.

I heard what they said.
I WANT Obama to ensure BP puts a sufficeint amount in escrow to compensate (sort of) the people who have lost their incomes and property values because of this spill.
If BP decides to file bankruptcy down the road, that $20 billion will be protected.
It's BP's mess, NOT Obama's.

You aren't listening, freetime.

We are not a country based on "desire and want" but rather the "rule of law" and that is the point.

Barack Hussein Obama has no LEGAL AUTHORITY to ensure anything about any escrow accounts.

Well OK let all those A-holes down there go die like the fish, turtles and pelicans, right?

If you wish, but nobody here ever said anything remotely like that and nobody here believes that to be the case.

If anything, Barack Hussein Obama and his Chicago thugs are slowing things up and causing far more problems than any so-called "assistance" they might be giving.

I'm very upset about that spill. I know the environment down there is probably destroyed for good. I'm only glad I got a chance to see it before this happened.

I am so sorry the whole discussion about it now seems to be based on politics.

How do you think those people would fare if BP, a foreign company, goes bankrupt?

again...uninformed....listening to the liberals and nobody else.

research the gulf of mexico spill of 1979.

the entire gulf coast of mexico was saturated in oil

and look at the environment there today.

Thanks. It was interesting to read about the Pemex spill of 1979.

However, the BP situation dwarfs that. And who knows when they'll get the gusher stopped?

The US had two months to build sand barriers in 1979.

Interesting too was that Pemex escaped paying any damages.
