I'm looking for help finding County ordinances in reference to sub-division plats, foundation elevations, drainage, etc.

Most helpful would be the elevations and variance rules.

Did you find everything you were looking for?

No real answers anywhere. I've researched a bit but still have questions on how much tolerance is allowed regarding ground elevations on drainage plans. 2 feet seems unreasonable!

Is any of your problem a concern of IDEM? http://www.in.gov/idem/about/

I think you would have better luck with someone downstate...have you done any research on http://www.in.gov/

You may want to write a review here http://www.merchantcircle.com/business/ ... iew/create

I think maybe I found something useful to you. Try this:

and....

http://www.ci.valparaiso.in.us/engineer ... stance.htm

Hope that helps :D

Very good finds, but I believe my location is unincorporated, so I can't get help from Valparaiso. I'm in Union Township. The county still refuses to speak to us, or put us on the agenda to be heard. We will go to every meeting and speak at the end until they finally give us the report they were supposed to be working on...

All I can seem to find pertaining to your situation is:

Quote:
Porter County Government processes all contractor registration applications for the unincorporated area of Porter County.

Taken from here: http://www.porterco.org/?0/38

You may want to call on Valpo for answers...they may have your answers :)

Good luck!

Awesome!

There is another place on that listing where you can add more of your opinions about their company.
