Why is it, when driving Laporte Ave at 1:30 in the morning, do I always have to stop at the intersection with Silhavy because the traffic light changes to red when there is NO TRAFFIC on Silhavy? It is getting ridiculous where every night, people on Laporte have to stop, so that the imaginary vehicles on Silhavy can go. The city of Valpo needs to fix that light to where it stays green on Laporte until there is actually traffic on Silhavy, like the light going into Target is |

Tonight I said f*** it and just ran them, because i am sick and tired of them changing for no reason at all Come on Valpo administrators, I understand that Valpo drivers are to stupid as to know how to handle a 4 way stop, so you need to pay an off duty sheriff to direct traffic at a 4 way stop during rush hour, but do you really need to have the traffic lights at these two intersections cycle through every 2 minutes? If its to save power or to keep the LED's from burning out, how about just doing like you do up the road on Silhavy and have the lights flash Red for Target and Silhavy and Yellow for Laporte/2 at night? |
