Two killed in E.C. shooting
Police investigating, ask public for help

EAST CHICAGO | Two East Chicago residents were killed Saturday in an early morning shooting on Guthrie Street.

Erika Butler, 19, and Anthony Adams, 20, were pronounced dead just after 6 a.m. in front of Harborside Apartments by the Lake County coroner's office. Both had sustained multiple gunshot wounds, a spokesperson for the coroner's office said.

Adams was found in the street and Butler on the sidewalk in front of 3529 Guthrie St., he said. Neither lived in the public housing complex.
Officials said the shooting is just another surge of violence on a street rampant with street gang activity and drug dealing.

There's a poster here named, URright; she's such, a nice old senior, she can direct you to some housing. However, she likes to talk to herself, and bang her head against any wall that happens to be near her. Also, she's not clean at all. But PM her, she lives in a nice section of East Chicago known as the Harbor. She's a senior like you, and has live there since her European ancestors swan the Atlantic.

There's a poster here named, URright; she's such, a nice old senior, she can direct you to some housing. However, she likes to talk to herself, and bang her head against any wall that happens to be near her. Also, she's not clean at all.
