Don't worry about money. I hear Obama is gonna outlaw money because only old rich guys have any to spare these days, so money is deemed to be racist.
Really I think only his dire hard supporters would argue against that given all the facts it appears Obama wants to move us further towards socialism and away from free capitalism. The problem with that is the government is in reality bankrupt already because of entitlement spending (admittedly the war spending didn't help either) and the US dollar is constantly losing buying power and taxation across the board is already at crushing levels. When over half your earning go for taxes of some sort the solution is not to get a better job, it's to reduce the tax burden.
So it looks like the world may abandon the US dollar for a one world currency. If that happens we cannot continue with these shell games to keep the socialistic programs going.
And we are in for hard times period anyway. The availability of credit is diminishing yet the government is spending $billions in imaginary dollars to make financial institutions solvent, meanwhile the government has done nothing to curb predator credit card lending and has gone a step further by making it much harder to obtain relief through bankruptcy to the point of creating a forced repayment plan for many leaving the accumulated fees intact. OTOH the US taxpayer will eat the cost of predatory home lenders, keeping the institutions solvent and their boards gainfully employed, to give those borrowers a more affordable payment despite their own foolish borrowing choices.
If it were possible to return to a cash & carry economy the US dollar is still becoming worthless so the buying power continues to diminish because there's nothing backing the dollar anymore except "good faith."
So I wouldn't worry about money. It's all just a blip on a computer screen that someone claims you possess.
