at last some justice for a few victims of sexual predator Catholic priests. the church is going bankrupt and rightly so. all of the priests, bishops and cardinals who covered up for these perverts should receive their just rewards where the sun don't shine butit's HOT HOT HOT! the late rev. jos. cardinal bernardin was one of the greatest protectors of child-molesting priests and paid hundreds of thousandsof dollarsto a local priestfrom st.victor's, vince mccafferty, so he could retire in style.. he is now serving 20 yrs. for kiddie porn. too bad he isn't serving more time for kiddie molestation. if the pastors like rev. leo mahon of st. victor's in calumet city had reported the abuse to the police as acrime, as they should have, hundreds of kids would have been spared. but mahon, bernardin and countless others would rather save their own butts. |

i was very involved in my daughter's wedding sunday. but i'm back and i'm hopefully going to have more time to at least read the postings. i intend to let my voice be heard on "father" michael pfleger, the "priest" who has called for the killing of a gun shop owner in riverdale and for the killing of politicians who are pro-gun. a short time ago he had al sharpton and harry belafonte speak from his pulpit at mass. belafonte called for a "woman's right to choose". now i don't particularly like guns or politicians, and i believe abortion is the ultimate evil; but i don't advocate killing gun shop owners, legislators or abortion doctors. the voting booth and the power of protest is a better way to go. i intend to demand the removal of michael pfleger from the priesthood. how much more is the church going to tolerate? |
