Beyond that let's examine what he said concerning social justice.

Jim Wallis responded, writing on his God's Politics blog:

"Of course, Christians may disagree about what social justice means in our current political context — and that conversation is an important one — but the Bible is clear: from the Mosaic law of Jubilee, to the Hebrew prophets, to Jesus Christ, social justice is an integral part of God’s plan for humanity. Beck says Christians should leave their social justice churches, so I say Christians should leave Glenn Beck. I don’t know if Beck is just strange, just trying to be controversial, or just trying to make money. But in any case, what he has said attacks the very heart of our Christian faith, and Christians should no longer watch his show."[16] This was also cross-posted on The Huffington Post.[17]

He seems to be missing the forest for the trees. Any social justice that Jesus mentioned was on a personal one on one basis, not the Roman government or any other government. He also never advocated a tax to provide for the needs of the poor. He said basically the Christian thing to do was that you the individual treat your neighbor as yourself and render unto Caesar the things that are Caesar's. Ask President Obama if we are a Christian country and he will say we are a secular country with many private religious beliefs, so where in that would there be room for religious social justice to be justification Federally mandated for redistribution of wealth?

From Moses to Jesus there is nothing in scripture that refers to a forced redistribution of wealth. Even in the early church the mentality of jointly sharing resources voluntary was not a requirement at all. BTW that experiment failed horribly.

If you voted for the Dems don't be surprised when things don't turn out quite as you were led to expect. Some might call it pure Marxism. But the problem with Obama economics is there's not enough money in the world to make it work.
