My wife and I have been going to the Dixie Kitchen and Bait in Lansing for some time now. Here is a link with the address, menu and hours. They pride themselves on good service, which is very important to us. I love their country fried steak and their ribs are excellent. They serve johnny cakes, along with mashed sweet potatoes and red beans and rice. If you like southern cooking, you will enjoy this restaurant.

I've been to the original Dixie Kitchen in Hyde Park a couple times and thought it was really good. I'll have to try the Lansing location sometime.

But...the website is a piece of crap. The person that designed it must be 10 years old -- or someone that only uses a Mac.

The problems are still there as well. The only link available on that page is broken. And the mp4 content requires a codec I do not have on my system, one that is Apple-specific.

So I stand by my comment. Putting up a site with broken links and requiring specialized software/hardware to view is something I'd expect from a 10-year-old. The media content should be an enhancement, not a requirement. I feel the same way about Flash -- it's OK if used as an enhancement, but I avoid sites that require Flash to view any of their content.

Requiring Apple-specific codecs is something common with MacFanatic web designers. They don't know anything but MacSpeak...
