Excellent food and service as good as any restaurant in Chicago. Located in a restored historic home I give it 4 1/2 stars.
I wouldn't go that far. It IS, however, the best I've had in Indiana.
Had the Papardelle with braised lamb in onions, celery, carrots, and au jus. Tasty dish, but the papardelle was cut a tad thin and slightly overcooked. Not al dente.
Their dessert, some chocolate and vanilla type ice cream cake, lefta lot to be desired.
Nonetheless, an overall positive experience and I'll definitely go back.
Nice bar as well.
p.s. best papardelle in the city is at Volare on Grand (they've opened a new place in Oakbrook Terrace as well). hand made pasta with a just right vodka cream sauce.
