It seems that with all the opposition downstate against our hair brain politicos, who are against the 2% tax cap, the tax will remain. They say that we ought to have a locat tax, if we need that money for schools. See, we residents get it both ways, our local politicos want to get rid of the tax cap, and downstate rather have us institute a local tax..............we can't win for NOTHING!

Thanks! And your post was the best one you made this year regarding my post on getting it from BOTH ends with taxes. Well, there's hardly anything left in our society that's NOT being tax!

They charge tax on air & water so all that's left is sunshine. And if Congress can find a way to get a tax on that believe me they will!
