Northwest Indiana Discussion

I think that's the name of the city. A small IN town's mayor just killed the opening prayer before city council meetings and people are ticked.

Reportedly the mayor banned prayer because city workers who were forced to sit in on the meetings complained. The mayor also cited concerns of an ACLU lawsuit.

As far as I am concerned no city council meeting or any other city body with citizen attendees should begin without a prayer and the pledge. It's a little harder to cheat the people if you start a meeting off with prayer and patriotism, I think.

And should the ACLU want to fight it I think every city in the state outta enjoin the fight against it.
