With still increasing gas prices New York has come up with an idea that should save a few bucks and help toward cleaner air for those interested. If law enforcement took the same approach how much would the same plan save tax-payers and help the auto industry. Since Indiana can’t get a break on the gas tax this could be the best thing since the casinos?

Police crashing into innocent citizens during high speed chasses, could go a long way in solving the issue. Would save money in fuel cost and human life but who’s counting either...

With still increasing gas prices

Huh? They've dropped over $.50 a gallon. I saw gas in FL for like $3.50 within the past week. Back uo to $3.53 with the Gulf platforms being shut down for the several hurricanes.

But then NWI has always been getting a rotten deal on fuel pump prices despite there being a refinery here. Blame Indy for that.

Does that mean we should give up hope that Daniel’s will bless us with a cap on the gas taxes? Had such high hopes he would come through, at least in an election year. Poor Lake County and I don’t mean it in jest!
