The Governor has said he will sign a smoking ban and that he will encourage the Senate to vote on the bill. A statewide smoking ban has passed the House in previous sessions. He CAN'T RUN again. Mitch has been lame since he won re-election. the Indiana Constitution has term limits for Governor for 2 consecutive 4 yr terms. He has to leave office after this term. Now he can run again after 4 yrs(like Evan Bayh may do, even though he claims otherwise) but he cannot run again in the next election |

Although in public places such as parks, open areas when festivals are held, and public buildings such as courthouses and administrative buildings, there should be designated smoking areas AWAY from the entry doors.
