Post subject:  Republican corruption- a threat to our water

Governor Mitch Daniels appointed Thomas Easterly, former Bethelman Steel executive to the head of the Indiana Department of Environmental Management, in spite of the fact that Mr. Easterly oversaw the creation of a large toxic waste dump less than 100 feet from Lake Michigan.
I have always felt that elected officials should act in the best interests of the people who elected them. Mitch Daniels feels that agencies like the IDEM should help corporations spend less on protecting our air and water to make the state more "business friendly". There is no other explanation for Daniels appointing a known polluter to head the IDEM. Any kind of corruption in government is disappointing but allowing companies to pollute our air and water is intolerable.

Can't be any worse than a certain Democrat Mayor who would rather keep a antiquated power plant online than risk losing a big tax payer due to the excessive amounts of pollution said antiquated power station pours into the atmosphere

And lets not forgot the over 900 times they have exceeded those pollution limits, and a certain democrat mayor looks the other way, while crying about pollution coming from a refinery in another city

Splinks is just being a sore loser.

Him and his masters got their clocks cleaned in the election and he's just crying like a little spoiled kid who got punched in the mouth on the playground.
