Dow down another $111.51 so far today as we near the close for the week.

It is quite obvious that whatever Obama's song & dance to please those receiving the most government benefits that the business community - where all non-government jobs grow from - is still not amused by Obamaism and it's claimed efforts to grow the economy. Why you'd think they actually read the new laws and realized what they REALLY mean! ;)

Well fancy that! In the last half hour of trading -- Dow 6,580.82 -13.62 (-0.21%) so I expect there to be another big decline next week due to the suspicious nature of this last minute rally.

Remember I predicted a 6,000 Dow! Looks like I probably wasn't wrong. ;)

Obama's approval ratings, as of March 6 (Rasmussen Poll) has dropped to 56%. That is about double Pelosi's approval rating.

Obama's problem is that the divide between Wall Street and Main Street occurred in Karl Marx' imagination. A large number of Americans own mutual funds, stocks and other investments that they would like to see appreciate.

It's taking it's toll on the little community organizer.

It's a big step from running scams on poor disadvantaged people in Chicago and race baiting for cash to being in charge of the entire Country.

Methinks our Chimp-in-Chief is not up for the job..... :smt006

Nothing like a good blast of bigotry to substantiate a point. The same intellectually immature folks that thought Palin was a sound candidate. Please US Marine stop using the moniker of representing and protecting this country, you certainly are not worthy of using the emblem of the US Marine Corp. Spouting such racist vitriol toward our freely elected President and more adeptly applicable to you, our Commander in Chief. Regardless of your personal feelings, your words here are not respectful of yourself, God, or Country. Your words and actions here make a mockery of the freedoms you have chosen to protect, or at least what you wish to convey here. I attest that you certainly do not emblazon the character of the Marine Corp. or you are not a member of the armed forces, either way you should divorce yourself from the use of your screen name and avatar when spouting such intellectually challenged prejudice.

Indeed.

Watch out..!!!! I just saw the greasy little community organizer speaking on TV so you can expect the stock market to fall even further.

He was talking about signing the bill on stem cell research but it doesn't matter.

Every time he opens his filthy piehole the stock market goes down.

It's very sad. Why can't he just STFU for a "change"....?

Obama is a ghoul. Creating life to destroy it, is as disgusting as it gets. The scientists have repeatedly said that the existing stem cell lines are perfect for their endeavors, but yet this devil wants to create and destroy life, cause he can.He is indeed the devil.

I know you thought you were attempting to support/deflect your previous post, but have instead supported my contention relative to your level of intellect.

You are a disgrace to your screen name, and avatar. For the sake of the thousands of others who wear the uniform with honor and integrity, change to another screen name and avatar.

Substantively, your attempt to put the current status of the stock market on the current Administration is equivalent to a pre-schoolers’ understanding of string theory in quantum physics. So to add insult to injury, you substantiate your mentally hindered understanding of economic markets with bigotry, and then actually write the above in response. Yet another case of this poster who should simply remain quiet as opposed to responding and unintentionally (and hilariously) support the contentions of those whom he wishes to counter.

Back on topic.

I hope the Chimpy Chump-in-Chief stops flapping his filthy mouth for a "change" so the stock market can start going back up.

I believe it's his Messiah complex. The man is unbalanced to say the least.

It appears Marine isn't the only one who believes Obama is having a negative effect on the stock market.

Quote:
....Obama wants to raise capital gains taxes on a good chunk of the money currently in the market. Nearly 80 percent of total stock holdings are held by people who would be subjected to higher investment taxes. Not only does that hurt their future after-tax returns, but it also undercuts the future productivity of the economy, thus crimping the future stream of earnings generated by corporate America. So the whole stock market will suffer from a sort of collective tax punishment. Hey, even potential Obama Treasury secretary Jamie Dimon thinks raising taxes right now is a goofy idea.

Arthur Laffer, tonight on CNBC, put the blame for the recession and stock decline squarely on Barak Obama and this Congress.

Laffer pointed out that markets are forward looking and from September 2007, the markets were anticipating the 2008 election.

And Larry Kudlow and 2 other guests agreed that Obama inherited it.

Yes stock markets are forward looking. But they were looking at financial losses and both consumer spending and corporate profits going off a cliff.
