 Post subject: Uran Proposes New Tax for Crown Point and Center Township

Crown Point Mayor Uran has proposed a new tax on Crown Pointers and Center Township residents to fund a new "Fire Territory" which would have independent taxing authority.

This sounds like an idea of East Chicago attorney Dave Nicholls to bleed more money from Crown Pointers and Center Township.

A public referendum should be taken in each of Crown Point and Center Township to determine if people want to pay this new URAN TAX.
