Tom McDermott withdrew his support for the conservancy cash-grab yesterday

The Post-Trib reports Wednesday that Gary may withdraw its support as well.

Kim Krull is the chairwoman of the Lake County Republican Party.

George Janiec is the GOP candidate for Hammond Mayor.

Kim Poland is a Hammond Republican Councilwoman.

Meanwhile, in the real world, the same incompetent bunch of board members who took over twenty five years to build this project are left in charge. There is no fee system in place to fund repairs or maintenance. Once again, Krull and company have shown they are willing to put ideology over the safety of the residents whose homes are along the river.

Krull, Janiec and Poland deserve the highest praise for fighting this corrupt Democrat cash-grab. Why on earth should people in Crown Point be paying for a service already provided by the State to those in the northwest corner of the county.

Actually Sparks, the current commission would have been funded for O&M if VanTil and McDermott had not paid lobbyists to stop the funding last session. I believe Krull and all homeowners who want public safety above public pillage are working to get the legislature to pass the bill this next year as it should have been this year.
