First, do you know where Sanford airport is? Had FL gone ahead with the super train from Tampa to Orlando this would be a better idea. And the article says the airline had really wanted to fly to Vegas. Here we go again! They want a longer runway to fly with full tanks BUT will they still be using Gary after the project is completed? And even so, with our own casinos struggling do we really want to be helping to send that revenue out of state?

All in all it appears to be another 6 month wonder that will wind up costing us $millions for nothing. Gary can only compete with Midway at a time when airlines are reducing the number of flights and Gary offers nothing to draw that business.
