WIND goes DOWN...................!

In today's Tribune, there is a article the lists the radio stations that are the top rated in the area. Out of 10 stations, WIND was not one of them; as a matter of fact, it WASN'T EVEN MENTIONED in the WHOLE article! This is the station that pees off into the air, Michael Savage; Laura Ingham; Denis Prager; Gellengher, etc., all the neo-con, republican varmits who spread their hate on a daily basis! HOWEVER, within the top ten were THREE Hispanic stations, WOJO, WPPN & WLEY, 5th place and 10th place respectivily; WBBN & WGN were in the top 5! But I do HAVE a point here, and it's that WIND, the home of the neo-cons was not even mentioned, nor lised even in the top twenty stations! How sweet it is, folks!

WIND ended up being ranked number 32 out of all stations in the Chicago book with a 0.7 rating.

It's their lowest rating in over a year. The numbers that you are using (and that are quoted in the article), are not really the best way to judge a radio station. These numbers are for ALL listeners 12+. Most radio stations just try to hit their "target demo" ie women 25-54. The other "neo-con" station WLS (home of Rush Limbaugh) really hit their lowest numbers in a LONG time with a 3.1 and 8th place.

You are correct about the importance of spanish speaking programming, all three of the spanish stations in the market hit their highest numbers in a year.
