I was reading a thread over in the Times forum and thought I'd make it a topic here.

Indiana Sex & Violent Offender Registry

By clicking the link above, you only have to enter the name of you city and agree to the terms of use and you can look at the mugshots and rap sheets of offenders in you area. If you know anyone who has been a victim you know it has a life altering effect. I encourage every board user to look thru their community's mugshots, you might just find your neighbor. If you do tell your neighborhood to be aware. This resource is here for a reason.

I think it's great that child molestors have to be registered but I would prefer they stay in jail or are shot on site. The last guy pictured above who looks pretty normal is 22 and was charged with SEXUAL MISCONDUCT WITH A MINOR [35-42-4-9]. The problem with a site like this is let's say that guy was 18 and had sex with a 16 year old. That's a lot different then a 40 year old having sex with a 4 year old. It kind of lumps everyone together with vague distriptions of their crimes. It would be nice if there was a little more details on the crimes these people committed.
