Supreme Court Nominee Sotomayer said that an Hispanic woman will render better decisions than a wise old white man who lacks her experience.

Even if the wise old white man risked his life in the military so that Sotomayer could spew her drivel?

Everyone has different life experiences. Washington and Lincoln could not have had more different backgrounds but they were both great leaders who made great decisions under intense pressure.

I hope Sotomayer makes better decisions than to come up with such a stupid comment.

W.H. to Sotomayor critics: Be 'careful'

By ALEXANDER BURNS | 5/27/09 4:27 PM EDT

White House press secretary Robert Gibbs issued a pointed warning to opponents of Judge Sonia Sotomayor’s Supreme Court nomination Wednesday, urging critics to measure their words carefully during a politically charged confirmation debate.

“I think it is probably important for anybody involved in this debate to be exceedingly careful with the way in which they’ve decided to describe different aspects of this impending confirmation,” Gibbs said.

He was replying to a question from CBS’s Chip Reid about a blog post by former House Speaker Newt Gingrich accusing Sotomayor of imposing identity politics on the bench and declaring: “A white man racist nominee would be forced to withdraw. A Latina woman racist should also withdraw.”

In 2001, then-White House press secretary Ari Fleischer drew criticism in the press for suggesting Americans “need to watch what they say” in the overheated aftermath of the Sept. 11, 2001, terror attacks.

You have to watch those wise old white men like Washington, Adams, Madison, Monroe, John Marshall, Louis Brandeis, Learned Hand, and Oliver Wendell Holmes. Even the young white men like Thomas Jefferson.

They may not have had the experience of an egocentric hispanic.

President Obama Announces Sonia Sotomayor As His Supreme Court Nominee

As President Obama's Supreme Court nominee comes under heavy fire for allegedly being a "racist," Judge Sonia Sotomayor is listed as a member of the National Council of La Raza, a group that's promoted driver's licenses for illegal aliens, amnesty programs, and no immigration law enforcement by local and state police.

If a white man made as sexist and racist a comment as the Obama Supreme Court nominee, he would be immediately dropped.

Why didn't Clarence Thomas' compelling life story rally the liberals to back him?

Instead, Teddy Kennedy and his allies launched what Clarence Thomas called "the high tech lynching of an uppity black."

I'm beginning to suspect we have a rascist president surrounded by rascist buddies.
