On February 3, the U.S. Attorney David Capp announced the indictment of East Chicago Mayor George Pabey on charges of political corruption.

Considering the extensive political corruption and pay-to-play practices in Lake County, it would be fun to set up a football pool square for picking who will be indicted next.

Viscloski, McDermott, Clay and Uran squares should sell at a premium.

David Capp was appointed U.S. Attorney for Northern Indiana on December 24, 2009 by the President. On December 29, 2009 Senator Bayh officially signed off on the nomination. With Capp now secure in his job and 22 years of experience in NWI under his belt, Pabey may just be the beginning. If Capp can do what Joe Van Bokkelen did, he should be appointed a Federal Judge too.

While Visclosky, McDermott, Uran, and Clay are front runners, Chico Hinohosa and Scott King are top flight contenders.

As Churchill would have said, if he lived in Lake County: "Never have so few done so many out of so much."

Judge orders Pastrick, allies to pay $108M

http://nwitimes.com/news/local/lake/art ... 3ee26.html

Pastrick and his attorney are laughing over this judgement and spitting in the taxpayers faces. The entire system is a joke, this crook should be locked up like any other crook, and to say he doesn't have any money left to pay this, yeah right! Pabey making comments about a corrupt brother of his own, where do these people come from? The arrogance is worse than the crime!
