Once again Lake County politicians are putting the screws to us in Lake County regardless of the so called 1% tax cap. The 1% tax cap doesn't mean sh!t when the assessor keeps making up outrageous property assessments. In addition the township you live in can still tax you any amount they want, the rates are all over the board. As easy as it is to view and compare property right here on the Internet the assessor's still can't assess sh!t. Use these links to see how much you are getting screwed! (don't forget when you got vote because tax bills will not go out before elections)
