Vets ride to raise awareness

MUNSTER | A phalanx of motorcyclists thundered through Northwest Indiana on Tuesday on a cross-country ride to honor veterans.

The National Veterans Awareness Ride stopped at Munster's Community Veterans Memorial on Tuesday afternoon during the trip from Sacramento, Calif. to Washington, D.C.

Riders aim to honor veterans and raise awareness of veterans' service and sacrifices. -- The Times
