Acts 2: 20 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before that great and notable day of the Lord come:

I just saw it!

When I read your reply Tiger something dawned on me. Between all the debate on the Obamacare program forcing you to buy private insurance, and RFID effectively forcing you to accept radio id tracking, and even having to show id and have it logged into a database to cash in cans or buy decongestant medicine, and then consider the soon collapse of the dollar it is no longer far fetched to believe some leader will before long require everyone to have a traceable "mark" (some sort of permanent identifier to tie you into a database) just as a practical matter? Seems like I heard that part of Obamacare requires doctors to make all your records available online to a database.

Like anything the government does sounds a piece at a time like a good idea until you ponder the misuse of that good idea and how it fits into the whole. And then consider how even Google Earth can provide real time tracking of your movements to law enforcement in areas even now "for the public good."

I'm sure the passage (and others) refers to a lunar eclipse.

Then consider this idea. I put "Blood Moon Israel" into a search engine and got this take on such lunar eclipses in Israel.

http://www.wnd.com/index.php?fa=PAGE.view&pageId=63076

And here lots of people scoffed at the thought that we believed the moon would literally turn to blood. Not at all. It is a description of a lunar eclipse meant to be a sign of the times after certain events had unfolded.

You hit the nail on the head, Mirage. In 2015, Obama will have begun his 7th year in office. No matter what he has done, and is yet to do, the sheople will re-elect him. We have brought the wrath of God upon ourselves. Check the USGS site. There has been an unusual number of earthquakes today, especially in the Bonin Islands area of Japan. They have had a 7.4 earthquake, followed by dozens of aftershocks, mostly in the 5.0 and up, range. As for the weather, Global Warming is a hoax. Europe has had some of the lowest temps ever. Many records have been broken. There also has been much volcanic activity around the Azores, besides the ongoing activity in Iceland. Go google the Azores, and read the predictions by scientists, if a volcano causes a landslide on one of the islands there. It will cause a 1,000ft tidal wave to hit the east coast of the U.S.A., and the west coasts of Africa and Europe.

That's some pretty intense fear mongering,Mary Ellen. Throughout history, uneducated people like yourself have viewed natural occurrences like earthquakes, floods and plagues as the wrath of God punishing people for some kind of wrong doing. It's a shame that you never received enough education to be able to think rationally. Keep on spouting superstitious nonsense like some backwards hick from the hills of Kentucky. It's very amusing to the intelligent posters on this board.

HYPOCRIT ! You claim to be a Christian. I am well educated, unlike you. I frequently reference back to the best book ever printed, the Bible. Go drag your knuckles back to your union play book.

What did you expect from him Tiger? After all he worships Obama's every word as if it were the word of God. His blindness and the blindness of others was ALSO predicted as a sign of the times. ;)

Yeah, the Truth could come and smack him across the side of his head, and he would still refuse to recognize the Truth.

It must really be tough to go through life being totally clueless, uninformed yet certain in your beliefs.
