On the receipt of your payment confirmation email your package will be set
for delivery which you will receive within 72hours.

PAYMENT TERMS: We do not accept cash on delivery (COD) proposal for such
package. Air sure charge for onward delivery must be paid through our
choice of service to our office as instructed within a period of 48 Hours
after the receipt of this mail, after this period a new bill will be
issued to you.

The thing that gets me is I guess some people are stupid enough to fall for it or they would just give up on these scams.

Did you read recently the article about the idiot who lost over $200,000 on that Nigerian scam even though her husband\, kids, and friends all told her it was a scam? Yet she kept sending more money

I had no pity for her at all for being so stupid

Oh there's a worst one going on now! The email threatens personal harm if you don't send $8,000 ASAP. They made the mistake of sending one of those threat-mails to a Florida state representative who in turn promptly called the authorities. I hope they catch that creep!

Oh the hitman scam?

thats been around for about a year now.

I get at least 1 of those a week.

Basically the person who sends the email claims to be a hitman who was hired to kill the recipient for $5,000, but the guy really does not want to do it, so he sends an email saying that if you send him $8,000, he will spare your life.




Of course, the funny part is, idiots who have fallen for this scam report that they are now getting more and more of them. Well duh, the person who wants them whacked is really pissed the first attempt failed, so now he has multiple hitmen going after them, and they all know that the person is willing to pay to live
