We know for a FACT that artie was one because he got banned for doing it.
We know for a FACT that Orifice was one because he boasted about it and strutted around telling everyone that he had help.

Things are slowly getting better now that artie is gone. Skraps is doing the artie thing trying to pick fights and disrupt threads just for the sake of doing it. Methinks he's either going to have to change his ways or he'll be joining artie.

Hopefully sooner than later.

Be that as it may, it doesn't excuse Orifice or artie for doing it.

If there are 30 thefts in a store and you catch 2 people stealing, do you excuse the behaviour of the 2 because 28 other people did the same thing without getting caught...?

It's too bad all of the volunteer mods at the Times hadn't been like Paul, because all that crap might not have ever happened.
Paul, Tony B. and Amy seemed to do a good job of patrolling the place without disrupting conversation or censoring topics. Can't say that for all of them though, which is why they eventually dumped the whole bunch and chaos ensued.
I too hold Oracle the most responsible for what happened at the Times. Then to read his "explanation" for it just blew my mind. I'm glad he has found somewhere else to post now.
I think there is some sort of program there now that deletes things even before they appear. I have tried a few times to post, and it will say "successfully submitted" but the post never shows up. Someone STILL is deleting there. Now I don't ever bother.
I like this forum and the admin does a good job for the most part.

Heck if I know whats going on with this Oracle board. After reading this whole shabang if that's where artie is then that just cracks me up. artie from Cal City on a Hammond board....sigh. Why, that should make ole' skraps just as happy as a lark. He really had quite an artie break down the other night. Kind of creepy actually. Skraps is an agitator who posts up child like thoughts, and no facts. Pure shameless rhetoric. My eye's roll and roll that I can only pray he sticks with the new boards so that I don't get my eye's stuck in the back of my head.

first off comedian. its not my board and i am not admin over there.

i merely suggested it and inspired it i guess.

second the revisionist history of the times debacle is hilarious. there were dozens of deleters over there i was maybe the 20th person to do so. and everything i deleted involved individual posts in one specific thread, while others were deleting dozens of threads.

but hey. i dont care if you guys paint me as the bad guy, after all, there is no such thing as bad publicity!

I think the whole thing is either a scam or a total flop.

If it was half the board these guys are trying to make believe it is, then they wouldn't be spending so much time here.

Just this thread and the way it was posted gave me pause to think it was all a put on. When these guys disappear and stay gone I might believe it.

Until then, I think it's totally made up.
