Here's the real scandal - the people who are ripping some poor teenaged girl to shreds for holding that opinion, which will have zero impact on anything, are giving a free pass, as usual, to someone whose stance on the matter might actually make a difference.

Will Christians face prosecution for speaking out agains homosexuality?

April 21, 2009

The U.S. House Judiciary Committee will vote tomorrow on a "hate crimes" bill that some say might allow federal officials to prosecute Christians who speak out against homosexual behavior.

Barney Frank, an openly homosexual congressman, announced Thursday that the House Judiciary Committee will be considering "hate crimes" legislation, H.R. 1913.

The bill is named the Local Law Enforcement Hate Crimes Prevention Act. It has 42 co-sponsors and was introduced into the House on April 2 by U.S. Rep John Conyers, D-Mich., chairman of the House Judiciary Committee.

If people are going to be penalized for expressing a polite, respectful opposition to the gay lifestyle you can bet crap is gonna hit the fan hard. This shall not stand!

As for open bigots like Mr/MS Hilton I think I'd like to say we'd all be better off by not supporting whack job entertainers like that and any media outlet stupid enough to hire him.

The man is a bigot simply because his opinions differ from her opinions. Too bad. People have a right to their opinions and do not have to be politically correct. Besides, the majority of the country does not condone gay marriage or it would be in every state. :smt006
