I'm no big fan of Sparks, but from what I have seen I don't think he deserves to be banned.
I just ignore many of his posts and advise those of you who want him banned do the same.

As much as I dislike Sparks.
And have told him so in a forum.

If you don't like the person, DON'T READ THEM.

I don't believe that a person should be banned just
because they anger people, or the people don't like
what they post.

Agreed.....BUT.....if the administrator chooses to clean house and wants to do so in a fair manner, squirts would have to go....as would the OLT540.

It is up to the Admin who goes and who stays.
Who is on restriction.

It isn't up to the people of the BB.

There may be people that we all don't like.
But they have the right to voice their thoughts like
the rest of us.

I'm sure that the Admin has a line that he doesn't want posters to cross.

But it is up to him not us.

Here's exactly what the Admin said in the Hammond forum in August 2008 about his criteria for banning members. Does it fit Sparks?

- Threads whose sole purpose is to attack or harass another member are not permitted. This includes those threads, which pretend to be discussing some harmless topic, but in reality their intent is to harass or threaten another member. Those who start or participate in these threads will be banned and the threads will be deleted.

- Members who relentlessly attack and harass other members.

- Members whose primary purpose is to disrupt the forum.

Pretty simple. Be civil or be gone.

True. It's strictly up to the Admin, and IMO he has been pretty fair about things.
Nice to see you posting again, Martha. You are always so reasonable.
:D

He's a pain-in-the-ass, but everything has a purpose. If this clown was banned, you guys may just start picking on me!
