Miss. Tea Party figure commits suicide
Quote:
Local police have confirmed a report in The (Jackson, Miss.) Clarion-Ledger that attorney Mark Mayfield, vice chairman of the Mississippi Tea Party, committed suicide. Mayfield was one of three men charged with conspiring to photograph U.S. Sen. Thad Cochran's bedridden wife in her nursing home and create a political video against Cochran.

Mayfield didn't kill anyone, but Kennedy did.

You've got to admit, the point goes to Tiger on that slam dunk.

Plus Kennedy ruined this entire county by helping Richard Hatcher get elected in 1967.

Oh good! The Yahoo from Alaska is thinking of running for political office again...

Palin says she’s ‘seriously interested’ in 2016 campaign

Maybe this "classy" person can carry the sign she was holding last week:

I thought I would of had to wait longer before the rethuglicon majority started feasting on one another:

Quote:
WASHINGTON -- Ohio Gov. John Kasich (R) on Sunday criticized Republicans who have attacked Common Core education standards and said that their opposition has more to do with politics than substance.

Quote:
Even Fox News is outraged at Boehner and Netanyahu's plan to undermine Obama

Quote:
Republican Party, which has been majority for only one week, is increasingly more divisive as some members focus on running for president in 2016.

Stayed tuned...It will get even better when the fringe elements start coming out of the woodwork!

Hey arc...How 'bout this:

10 states with the worst taxes for average Americans
Quote:
10. Indiana
> ITEP index score: -6.6%
> Effective tax rate lowest 20%: 12.0% (8th highest)
> Effective tax rate top 1%: 5.2% (23rd highest)
> 2013 Gini coefficient (pre-tax): 0.46 (17th lowest)

A negative score on the ITEP index means state residents' incomes were less equal after taxes than they were before taxes. With a score of -6.6%, Indiana’s tax system was the 10th most regressive among all states. While what makes a tax code fair is a contentious issue, middle class families are often among the hardest-hit by regressive tax policies. Indiana households who earned between $34,000 and $56,000 paid 10.8% of their combined income in state and local taxes, the fourth highest tax burden among that income group nationwide. Indiana’s taxation policies may have had an effect on income inequality in the state. Indiana’s Gini coefficient in 2013 had grown at nearly the fastest pace from 2009.

OUCH!

Employers shrug off Obamacare, robbing Republicans of a campaign issue
Quote:
The law, meanwhile, is reducing the number of Americans who lack health coverage as intended, as a new report from the Rand Corp. shows. And just as important, many unintended consequences that critics of the law predicted have failed to materialize.

Quote:
“Socalized medicine” hasn’t materialized.
Obamacare hasn’t killed jobs
The law has helped the uninsured
There aren’t that many people negatively affected by the law.

The employers shrugged off employees hours, so they could be exempt from covering the employees under obamacare. Current employees got their hours cut to 28, and new hires only get 28. Let me give you a family list here.

Nephew has been applying for jobs. No full time available. Past job was 28 hours. New job is 28 hours, but a little more pay.
Niece couldn't find work. Just started a temp job with Staff Source. Part time temp.
Son-in-law got hired by Walgreens. 28 hours. Previous employer got rid of all employees with time and higher pay, because of obamacare. He was out of work for a year.
Middle daughter works for a local grocery store chain. 28 hours.
Youngest daughter works for the local college. 28 hours. When obamacare went into effect, all employees except professors and some staff were cut to 28 hours. Starts an additional job tomorrow in Merrillville. 28 hours.

You have to have 2 part time jobs to make a living, and insurance is on you, not the employer.

They all have insurance now, thanks to Governor Pence and HIP2. No thanks to obama and his commiecare. obamacare resulted in a great job loss, cuts in hours, and employees losing benefits.
