that she is ignorant and stupid.
Quote:
Palin: The First Black President Wants to Revert to Pre-Civil War Society
In her view, the very act of acknowledging or talking about race's role in U.S. history makes one a racist.
...What makes Palin's take different and more problematic is the idea that Barack Obama wants to take the nation back to the days before the Civil War. Just think about that for a second. Palin claims that the president, a man who would most likely have been a slave had he lived in antebellum America -- or, had he been lucky enough to be one of the small percentage of blacks who was a freeman, would have been at constant risk of kidnapping and enslavement -- wants to return the country to those days.

She claims that Derrick Bell, who served in the Justice Department in the years immediately following Brown v. Board of Education, as the federal government dragged southern states kicking and screaming toward abolishing Jim Crow laws, wanted the nation to return to the pre-Civil War era.
What a fuking idiot.

Dumbo has already taken us back to the Great Depression.

The topic is how far back this country has fallen since Dumbo took office.

The funny thing here is that what Palin is claiming is exactly what people like mr grape fantasize about -reverting to pre-Civil War society.
Quote:
What Palin is expounding is a belief that has become common among conservatives. Almost all conservatives (like almost all liberals) agree that racial equality is the ideal toward which the United States ought to move. But many on the right have adopted the view that the only way to address racism is to pretend it does not exist. Thus, anyone who talks about race or acknowledges race or makes mention of the fraught American relationship with racism must by definition be a racist

Sarah Palin: Anyone but Obama
in the White House

Associated Press, by Frazier Moore

NEW YORK (AP) -- Sarah Palin doesn't sound too gung-ho about Mitt Romney as the GOP presidential candidate, but she insists that anyone is better than Barack Obama in the White House.

Anybody "would be infinitely better than what we have today," Palin said Tuesday on the "Today" show.

The 2008 vice presidential candidate was responding, sort of, to host Matt Lauer asking if she is happy with Romney as the presumptive Republican nominee.

When Lauer asked her why voters should put Obama out of office when recent signs suggest things are improving under his economic policies, Palin replied: "They aren't getting better fast enough."

Palin, who was interviewed during the NBC morning show's first hour, was scheduled to serve as guest co-host in the second hour.

hey edge?

do you believe this?

Do YOU SPEAK SHORTHAND? can you tell us what DUMBO ACTUALLY meant to say?

surely you have an expert in shorthand within that vast array of Einsteins Combat Veterans, Rocket Scientists and Janitors you surround yourself with...

I can translate this bullshit for you...

'my dog ate my homework''

Because that's who stupid DUMBO thinks you are.

Quote:
Carney: Obama Not Understood Because He Spoke In "Shorthand" Since He Is A Law Professor
Real Clear Politics

White House press secretary Jay Carney tells the press corps that President Obama's attack on the Supreme Court was misunderstood because he was speaking in "shorthand" since he is a former professor of law.

Henry: The president is a former constitutional law professor. One of his professors is Laurence Tribe. He now says, in his words, the president “obviously misspoke earlier this week”, quote “he didn’t say what he meant and having said that in order to avoid misleading anyone, he had to clarify it.” I thought yesterday you were saying repeatedly that he did not misspeak. What do you make of the president’s former law professor saying he did?

Carney: The premise of your question suggests that the president of the United States in the comments he made Monday, did not believe in the constitutionality of legislation, which is a preposterous premise and I know you don’t believe that.
