YouTube Censors Comments
Critical of Obama,
Allows Republican Trashing

Big Hollywood, by Warner Todd Huston

Apparently it's all sweetness and light, unicorns and fuzzy bunnies in the YouTube comments section of Obama's new hagiographic, hack-u-mentary short film directed by Academy Award-winning director David "star-struck" Guggenheim. Barely a cross word is seen there about the Obammessiah since most negative comments seem likely to have been deleted from the YouTube page leaving only the most sugary, sycophantic sap behind.

Such serious, probing comments as "YES we can, YES we did, Yes we Will !!!!!!!" [sic], "This generations Kennedy! His face belongs on money someday. I'm in!," and "the best President….EVER!!!" grace the comments section of "The Road We Traveled," the cheesy, dear-leader-like film made to flog Obama's now six-year-long campaign for the White House.

There are tears for Obama, joy for Obama, prayers for Obama, thanks for the many blessings he bestowed upon us from on high, grave warnings that without Obama we are lost, and, my particular favorite, the self-chastising comment that went: "Thank you, Mr President. I'm sorry that I've been impatient."

Dang your impatience, man! There's no room for impatience in fundamentally transforming the United States into a weaker, more despised version of France, after all. You'd better be ashamed of yourself and apologize, commenter jcourtn1!

There is even one comment by someone that claims he's a Republican that will now vote for Obama because the GOP has become the party of "Dominionism, Theocracy, and Corporatism." Better to have a president that is a destroyer of religion, creates a new dominion of big government, and indulges crony capitalism… all good Republican ideals, I'm sure.

"Now, hold on a minute, buddy," you might say. "Maybe all the world does love Obama and his new Leni Riefenstahl-styled video really speaks to them? Maybe there aren't any negative comments because no one posted any?"

Well, doubting leftist, I tried a little experiment. On March 15 I posted the following: "Certainly the biggest bunch of hero-worshipping nonsense I've yet seen. With all the problems this man has caused, we should vote for him again? Hardly."

By March 18, it still hadn't shown up.

Obama tries to spread blame on Solyndra, Keystone
Fox News, by Chris Stirewalt

(CBS News) SANFORD, Fla. - Florida Gov. Rick Scott has appointed a new special prosecutor to investigate the Feb. 28 shooting death of teenager Trayvon Martin.

Scott is also forming a task force to look into the state's controversial "Stand Your Ground" law.

There was as a massive rally Thursday night in Sanford, where Martin was killed by neighborhood watch volunteer George Zimmerman.

No city in America has had a week of such intense, negative pressure as Sanford.

Each day an admitted shooter remains free, racial divisions here widen a little more.

Martin was black. Zimmerman's family says he's Hispanic but police have described him as white.

"Enough is enough," Rev. Al Sharpton told the crowd at the rally. "We are tired of going to jail for nothing and others going home for something."

Obama Blames State and Local
Governments, Congress for 14.1
Percent Black Unemployment

Weekly Standard, by Daniel Halper

In an interview with Black Enterprise magazine, President Barack Obama blames state and local governments, as well as Congress, for over 14 percent black unemployment. "Black unemployment still stands at nearly 14%. How do you communicate that the economy is headed in the right direction?," the editor in chief of Black Enterprise asks Obama. "Most economists will tell you that there is no doubt the economy has gotten stronger, but we are digging ourselves out a deep hole. There are a lot more things we could be doing. To get them done, we need cooperation of Congress.

Democratic Rep. Caught Extorting Donations
Washington Free Beacon

Democratic Rep. Tim Bishop (N.Y.) appears to have extorted a $5,000 donation from a wealthy constituent who needed help obtaining some government permits, according to Politico.

The donor, Eric Semler, had wanted to celebrate his son’s Bar Mitzvah—the time when a Jewish boy enter manhood—by shooting off some heavy duty fireworks near his home.

To help get the permits needed to launch the fireworks, Semler petitioned Bishop’s office for help, according to the report:

Bishop agreed to intercede. But before Bishop and his aides completed their work on his behalf, Semler received a request from the congressman’s campaign staff, according to documents obtained by POLITICO and multiple interviews: For a contribution of up to $10,000 to Bishop’s reelection campaign.

Cutter: I'm Just Going to
Make S%&t Up about Jobs

Breitbart's Big Government, by Mike Flynn

Stephanie Cutter, deputy campaign manager for Obama's reelection effort, seems more a character out of fiction than a real person. A high-octane spokesman, she is willing to say anything to win the 30-second sound byte cycle. She will lie, contradict herself and make up stats on the fly to get through any single cable news appearance. Its something real people, with a credibility gene, wouldn't do. Fortunately, she's a Democrat, so the media will never really hold her statements to account.

Yesterday, Cutter appeared on MSNBC and was asked about Obama's economic record. She claimed that Obama's "recovery" had created 4.5 million private sector jobs. She went on to claim that Obama has created more jobs than Reagan.

I realize media fact-checkers will be reluctant to dig into Cutter's statement, so I'll save them the effort. Her statement is false. It isn't true. Hell, its not even on the same continent as the truth.

When Obama took office, the US was officially emerging out of a recession. The country suffered a severe recession during the first two years of Reagan's first term, as the Fed took steps to wring inflation out of the economy.

BREAK

When Obama took office, there were 142 million people employed. Last month, there were 142.2 million people employed. A tad under 200,000 more people have jobs today than had them when Obama was sworn in. In January 2009, 11.6 million people were unemployed. Today, 12.7 million are unemployed.

Wash Post Gushed Over
'Emotional Power' of 'Fahrenheit 9/11,'
Slams 'Fear-Mongering' '2016'
Newsbusters, by Scott Whitlock

The Washington Post film review of the new conservative documentary 2016 mocked the movie as a "fear-mongering" "infomercial" that is too opinionated. The same paper, however, gushed over the "emotional power" of liberal filmmaker Michael Moore's Fahrenheit 9/11, praising it as a "cultural juggernaut."

2016 reviewer Michael O'Sullivan knocked the "slick infomercial," deriding, "As these things go, the movie seems destined to irritate the president’s supporters while mobilizing his detractors, even as it is doomed to win precious few converts. It’s a textbook example of preaching to the choir." In contrast, Fahrenheit 9/11 critic Desson Thomson defended, "Documentaries aren't news articles; they're subjective points of view, which is why Moore has almost endless fun at the president's expense."

Thomson explained away the hard-left tilt of Moore's movie this way:

What counts is the emotional power of Moore's persuasion. With a combination of events and facts that we have already learned, and some that we haven't, Moore puts it all together. You can understand the thread of his argument, even if you disagree.

In comparison, O'Sullivan huffed that 2016 is "anything but crude. The best infomercials rarely are."

The conservative documentary, written and directed by author Dinesh D'Souza, argues that Barack Obama is anti-capitalist and anti-American. The Post's film critic attacked:

Why is the film called “2016”? D’Souza’s one-sided argument ultimately stoops to fear-mongering of the worst kind, stating in no uncertain terms that, if the president is reelected, the world four years from now will be darkened by the clouds of economic collapse, World War III (thanks to the wholesale renunciation of our nuclear superiority) and a terrifyingly ascendant new “United States of Islam” in the Middle East. These assertions are accompanied by footage of actual dark clouds and horror-movie music.

Roger Ebert Democrat Mouthpiece
Doesn’t Review Obama 2016

Chicago Daily Observer, by Steve Bartin

Highly partisan Democrat party mouthpiece and movie reviewer Roger Ebert hasn't reviewed Obama 2016. Ebert is well aware of the conservative documentary. Ebert perceives himself to be an expert on politics with this tweet about the GOP convention:

GOP Convention Mystery Guest will play "What's My Line?"with blindfolded delegates.

One thing is for sure though, Robert Ebert's wife was a big supporter of putting a casino in Chicago Mob linked Rosement, Illinois :

They lost their investments when the Illinois Gaming Board rejected the casino license earlier this week, on the grounds the Rosemont deal was tainted by ties to the Chicago Outfit and other political shenanigans.

"I feel like a victim," investor Chaz Ebert, wife of Sun-Times film critic Roger Ebert, told reporters after the Gaming Board voted 5-0 to kill the Rosemont deal.

Roger and Chaz Ebert: paragons of Chicago values. Still no word yet on Roger and Chaz's views about John 'No Nose' DiFronzo' and Rod Blagojevich's drive for a Rosemont casino.

ternal Army survey that was conducted in 2011 and published this year discovered that only 26 percent of active-duty Army officers say yes--and that one of the two main themes cited by those who say no is that the Army is now adversely impacted by "political correctness" imposed by both outside policymakers as senior Army leaders. The 26 percent who said the Army was headed in the right direction in 2011 was an all-time low--and a significant decline from the 33 percent who had said

Did Mitt Romney show up President Barack Obama again? The GOP presidential nominee managed to make it to storm ravaged Louisiana before Mr. Obama did after the the Republican National Convention concluded. On the 11th anniversary of the September 11th attacks the following tweets went out like this:

At 6:10 AM EST

‏@MittRomney:

On this most somber day, America is united under God in its quest for peace and freedom at home and across the world.

@BarackObama:

The election is in 8 weeks. Sign up to volunteer: http://OFA.BO/s3tXFz

At 9:47 AM EST the President Obama catches up:

Hillary Clinton Holds Belated End Of Ramadan Celebration At State Department With Libyan Ambassador
Image
Nice timing.

Quote:
At an event officials say was planned before the attacks in Libya that killed four Americans on Sept. 11, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and the Libyan Ambassador to the U.S., Ali Aujali, celebrated the end of the Muslim holy month of Ramadan at the State Department on Thursday.

The Eid ul-Fitr reception was held almost a month after the official end of the month on Aug. 19, delayed, officials say, because of Clinton’s travel schedule.

“The date [of the reception] was set purely because of scheduling considerations, especially given lengthy travel abroad recently,” a State Department spokesman told CNSNews.com via email.

The spokesman provided a copy of the Secretary’s schedule, showing that Thursday’s event was scheduled about 24 hours ahead of the attack on the U.S. embassy in Benghazi that resulted in the death of U.S. Ambassador Chris Stevens and three other Americans.

“Although I am many weeks overdue in saying it: Eid Mubarak,” Clinton said. “No matter how belated we are honoring Eid and the end of Ramadan, this is a cherished tradition here at the State Department.”

Clinton acknowledged the deaths, saying, “Tonight, our gathering is more somber than any of us would like. This comes during sad and difficult days for the State Department family.

Obama team tweets campaign message on 9/11
anniversary, day bodies returned from Libya

Fox News

President Obama and his re-election team marked the anniversary of the 9/11 terror attacks and events related to the killing of four Americans abroad that day with a slate of official and somber events. But they also took to Twitter for some campaign business on both days.

"The election is in eight weeks. Sign up to volunteer," reads the first tweet, on Wednesday, the 11th anniversary of the deadly attacks, from @BarackObama.

The tweet went out at 7:07 a.m. President Obama and first lady Michelle Obama then appeared on the White House South Lawn and bowed their heads at 8:46 a.m. -- the exact time the first hijacked plane struck the North Tower of the World Trade Center. The event was followed by the president and first lady laying a wreath at the Pentagon, where the third plane struck.

The Obama campaign declined to comment Saturday for this story.

The second tweet, about a sale of Obama apparel, was posted Friday, about 30 minutes before Obama arrived at Andrews Air Force Base to welcome home the bodies of the four Americans – including U.S. Ambassador Chris Stevens -- killed at the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, Libya.

"You would expect nothing less from a president whose priorities have been misplaced ever since he came to office,"

The Obama campaign is sure to jump on the news today--but Santelli has put a big question mark over the validity of the data.
