DUMBO has been an epic failure as el presidente...and because of that, and because of the ignorance and mindset of his supporters, DUMBO cannot possibly run on his record. He has accomplished absolutely nothing that would benefit this country and its citizens. As he has in every election race he's ever run in, he is going with the negative attacks against his opponents. Whether allegations he levels against anyone are true or false is irrelevant,...the ignorant people that support him will continue to drink his bathwater and believe everything that comes out of his mouth. isn't that right edge? Quote: Obama camp picks at possible Romney VP choices
Associated Press, by Dan Sewell & Brian Bakst CINCINNATI- President Barack Obama and his Democratic allies aren't waiting for Republican Mitt Romney to reveal his vice presidential choice. They're already trying to scuff up those considered by political insiders to be most likely to join the GOP ticket. The president's campaign started swinging at the potential Republican running mates this week while urging home-state Democrats to chime in about the shortcomings that - as emails to donors and supporters put it - "Americans need to know." The pre-emptive strikes are an effort to define a possible No. 2 in a negative light and reflect a sense |

Quote: Obama, Ryan take longtime rift to the next level Washington Times, by Susan Crabtree President Obama and Mitt Romney’s vice-presidential pick, Paul Ryan, have never seen eye to eye when it comes to policy, and now that the congressman from Wisconsin is on the GOP ticket, Mr. Obama is wasting no time in going after the Republicans’ popular budget man. Mr. Obama started off a three-day swing through Iowa by road-testing his attacks on Mr. Ryan, a familiar foe and ideological opposite with whom he has tangled repeatedly over the years. BREAK Reacting to the president’s criticism, the Romney campaign noted that Mr. Ryan is from an agricultural state and supported disaster relief. http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/201 ... evels-in-/ DUMBO apparently hasn't forgotten the humiliating experience of Ryan mopping the floor with him at the so-called health care debate. 2008 - "Hope and Change" 2012 - "Attack and Blame" |

Quote: Obama targets Iowa voters worried about college costs in new ad Des Moines Register [IA], by Jennifer Jacobs President Barack Obama targets Iowa voters concerned about college costs in a new television ad released this morning. The ad plays a clip of Republican Mitt Romney saying: “Take a risk, get the education, borrow money if you have to from your parents.†A narrator for the Obama ad then says: “Hope they can afford it. Romney’s plans could cut college aid for nearly ten million students and eliminate the tax deduction for college tuition. President Obama eliminated bank middlemen from college loans and used the savings to double college grants. “Take a risk, get the education, borrow money http://blogs.desmoinesregister.com/dmr/ ... in-new-ad/ really? DUMBOcare will FORCE hundreds of thousands of students to pay of thousands dollars to purchase his ridiculous health insurance that most likely they will never need. He will also bankrupt the country paying 111 BRAND NEW (UNION) BUREAUCRACIES to institute it. What good will your college education be then?.... 2008 - "Hope and Change" 2012 - "FEAR and MONGERING" |

Quote: Obama meets the press and makes stuff up
Washington Examiner [DC], by Editorial Over the past several months, President Obama has become accustomed to questions like these: » "It must not be too bad to be friends with George Clooney? Is he a nice guy?" » "Is the campaign bus comfortable?" » "If you had a super power, what would it be?" For the record, Obama's answers were, "He's a wonderful guy," "It is," and "I would love to be able to speak any language." But do not blame the White House press corps for this soft-handed and soft-headed treatment of Obama. The reason Obama has been fielding hard-hitting questions from the journalists at People magazine, "Entertainment Tonight," and drive-time pop radio DJs in Albuquerque is that, until Monday at about 1:30 p.m., Obama hadn't held an actual White House news conference since March 6. The last time the press was able to ask him even a couple of questions on U.S. soil had been June 18, when he told reporters that "the private sector is doing fine." So after months of trolling for soft press, Obama finally stepped forward to answer a few questions. And he was obviously a little out of practice. When a reporter noted that Obama's campaign had "suggested that [Mitt] Romney might be a felon" and that Obama's officially endorsed super-PAC had produced an ad that "links Romney to a woman's death," Obama responded: "Well, first of all I am not sure that all of those characterizations that you laid out there were accurate. For example, nobody accused Mr. Romney of being a felon." Sorry, Mr. President, but what you said is false. http://washingtonexaminer.com/examiner- ... DOK1Xkzx8F |

this old hag sounds - just - like - you, edge... ...childish Quote: Madeleine Albright campaigns
for Obama: We’re going to blame Bush 'forever' Washington Examiner, by Charlie Spiering Revealing Politics snags some video from an Obama campaign rally in Highlands Ranch, Colorado featuring former Clinton Secretary of State Madeleine Albright. In the video, Albright is seen telling a story about an exchange with a man during a Truman Foundation event, as he asked her how long Democrats would blame the previous administration for their problems. "All of a sudden this man gets up and says, 'How long will you blame the previous administration for all of your problems?'" Albright recounted. "I said, 'Forever.'" The story prompted laughter and applause from the crowd. http://washingtonexaminer.com/madeleine ... DPoXXkzx8E |

Quote: Team Obama breaks precedent to
try to spoil Romney’s convention Hill, by Mike Lillis Bucking protocol, President Obama and the Democrats are planning a full-scale assault on Republicans next week during their convention. Presidential candidates have traditionally kept a low profile during their opponent's nominating celebration, but Democrats are throwing those rules out the window in an attempt to spoil Mitt Romney’s coronation as the GOP nominee. President Obama, Vice President Biden and leading congressional Democrats have all scheduled high-profile events next week to counter-program the Republican gathering in Tampa, Fla. Even first lady Michelle Obama is in on the act, scheduling an appearance on the “David Letterman Show†smack in the middle of Romney's nominating bash. http://thehill.com/homenews/campaign/24 ... convention |

Quote: Gov. McDonnell: Obama,
Democrats focusing on abortion to distract from ‘failed’ record Daily Caller, by Matthew Boyle TAMPA, Fla. — Virginia Republican Gov. Bob McDonnell told The Daily Caller he thinks President Barack Obama‘s re-election campaign is trying to use things like the recent national focus on abortion issues to distract from his “failed†record as president. “If you’ve got a horrible record on jobs and the economy and on debt and deficit, and you have no energy plan, then of course, you’re going to change the subject,†McDonnell said in a phone interview. “That’s why you see so much attention from the Obama campaign on Romney’s tax returns, on Bain Capital, on social issues. It’s a very small-ball campaign — a campaign of division and fear — very different than the hope and change that you saw four years ago, which was uplifting and positive.†“It’s because, if the election gets to be solely about jobs and the economy, debt, deficit and energy, Obama loses big because he has not produced on those policies,†he continued. “He’s failed and everybody knows it. He’s trying to make it about personality and small-ball issues.†Social issues — especially abortion — have peaked as an issue in the national political discourse in the last week after Missouri Republican Rep. Todd Akin, the state’s GOP candidate for U.S. Senate, used the phrase “legitimate rape†when arguing against abortion on local television. The Obama campaign sent out a fundraising appeal from Democratic strategist Donna Brazile Monday seeking to tie Akin to Republican candidate Mitt Romney. Quote: Bain employees to speak
at Democrats' convention, officials confirm Fox News, by Bret Baier Democrats plan to have Bain Capital employees make the case against Mitt Romney at their convention in Charlotte. Senior Obama campaign officials confirmed to Fox News that at least two people who worked at Bain Capital -- Romney's former private equity firm -- will speak at the Democratic National Convention this week. The bold move comes after Democrats have spent millions of campaign dollars on ads shedding light on companies that folded after Bain takeovers. While the campaign is not revealing who will be speaking or when they'll be addressing the convention, one thing is clear -- it will not be favorable to Romney. A knowledgeable source told Fox News that possible speakers could include Steve Pagliuca -- managing partner at Bain Capital, considered the unofficial head of the firm. Pagliuca is a co-owner of the Boston Celtics who ran for the Massachusetts Senate seat formerly held by the late Ted Kennedy and lost in the Democratic primary to Martha Coakley in 2010. Quote: Verdict is in: Obama levels more personal attacks
Politico, by John F. Harris and Alexander Burns A crabby, negative campaign that has been more about misleading and marginal controversies than the major challenges facing the country? Barack Obama and Mitt Romney can both claim parenthood of this ugly child. But there is a particular category of the 2012 race to the low road in which the two sides are not competing on equal terms: Obama and his top campaign aides have engaged far more frequently in character attacks and personal insults than the Romney campaign. Continue Reading With a few exceptions, Romney has maintained that Obama is a bad president who has turned to desperate tactics to try to save himself. But Romney has not made the case that Obama is a bad person, nor made a sustained critique of his morality a central feature of his campaign. http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0912/80810.html |
