Here's another rethug that should be called by his real name:

Ted Cruz -- full name: Rafael Edward Cruz

Oh by the way...Guess where he was born? Canada! Does this sound familiar?
Quote:
The senator’s recently released birth certificate shows his mother was born in Delaware and his father was born in Cuba.

http://www.politifact.com/truth-o-meter/article/2013/aug/20/ted-cruz-born-canada-eligible-run-president/

Hmmm...Birthers seem to be quiet all of a sudden!

Thanks to the Revoltin' Rethuglicons the entire nation just shakes their collective heads and laughs at Indiana...

Panel backs allowing removal of Ritz as state board leader
Quote:
INDIANAPOLIS | An Indiana House committee has backed changing state law so that the elected state schools superintendent would no longer automatically chair the State Board of Education.

Gee why didn't they do that when Tony "I left the state in shambles" Bennett was elected????

Just IN now out as Pence ditches state-run news website
Quote:
The idea that Indiana would create a state-run media outlet, similar to the former Soviet Union, China and North Korea, prompted nationwide condemnation and chuckles.

What rubes!!

And on to the National News:

After 'whirlwind' debate, Senate set to approve Keystone pipeline bill
Quote:
Also failing was a Democratic proposal requiring that the oil being shipped on the pipeline from Canada remain in the U.S., rather than be sent for export; another would have mandated using only U.S.-made steel in the pipeline construction.

OK...tell me what is wrong with that...especially using US made steel!

Quote:
A property rights coalition tracking the condemnation proceedings has uncovered at least 89 land condemnation lawsuits involving TransCanada in 17 counties from the Red River to the Gulf Coast — cases that could test the limits of a private company's power to condemn property.

So you have a foreign company condemning US landowner's property...does it give you R's a warm feeling?

You know, I'm seeing that everywhere. In my wanderings from Austin to Boston and from Maine to the Great Plains, there is more collective head shaking and laughing at the Glenda Ritz tempest in a teapot than I can imagine there would be at a Chris Rock/Eddie Murphy (in his prime) comedy club double billing. Its really happening.

The real joke is that the only people who pretend to care about this non-affair are public employees and union gorillas. When you read the ramblings at the various on-line posting sites frequented by the NWI Intelligentsia, you find poorly written missives offered up by fork lift drivers, idle, entitled single mothers, teachers, city and county dregs, and retired union workers. During their twelve years of public education, none of these dummies ever dreamed about getting within four rooms of a math, biology, chemistry, or physics class but now they are act like they are all exercised about the way some school systems approach evolution or the Big Bang Theory. After being socially promoted out of their senior year of high school, they somehow found work with a local parks department, big box store, or hanging the same tire on a dreary assembly line for two decades. The only time they feign interest in anything other than alcohol, strip clubs, casino boats, and tobacco is when the heat may be turned up on the public education status quo.

Chuck, you with your Ball State babysitting degree should know better than anyone that it matters little which drone sits atop what office in the meaningless education bureaucracy. The only threat Tony Bennett posed to you was that you might be held accountable for your output. As long as NWI schools can keep the local Walmart stockrooms, fast food joints, and street departments staffed with functional illiterates, Lake County will remain off the radar screen of "the rest of the country".

So your intent of the above diatribe is to justify taking the power away from the legally elected official in this state. Geez...should have used that logic with bush when he stole his first election!

Ah, Glenda Ritz can be superintendent as long as she wants. That's not going to make a lick of difference in the life situations of the public employees, union apes, and idle, entitled single mothers--the ones that feign concern for what is taught in schools when they frittered away every educational opportunity that was offered to them for twelve years.

The point is this: look at who acts all spun up about the Glenda Ritz tempest in a teapot. You don't see doctors, physicists, CPAs, and engineers worried about who holds what silly title. The people most worked vocal about this nonsense are public employees, union apes, and idle, entitled single mothers--those who either have an interest in increasing union influence or are too stupid to understand that it takes individual effort to excel in a given field, whether that field is farming, a trade, the arts, or nuclear medicine. Allowing Glenda Ritz to head up two bureaucratic circle jerks has absolutely no bearing on anyone's station in life.

Yes it does...Proves that rethuglicons don't believe in election results. Proves that they do not listen to the majority.

Yes look who is all spun up...The voters!

Interesting...The top 10 states where the middle class is shrinking...After 10 years of rethuglicon administration look what state ranks #9:

Quote:
9. Indiana
> Middle income growth 2009-2013: -4.4%
> Fifth quintile income growth 2009-2013: 2.6%
> Fifth quintile share of income: 49.0%
> Middle class household income: $47,680 (17th lowest)

Middle class households in Indiana had an average income of $47,680 in 2013, down 4.4% from 2009. As in most of the nation, even as the income of middle class households declined, the income among Indiana’s highest earners grew. Yet, just 2.6% of households earned more than $200,000 in 2013, roughly half the comparable national figure. While wealthy Indiana residents had among the lower incomes compared to their nationwide peers, average incomes in the highest quintile grew by more than 2.5% between 2009 and 2013, one of the faster growth rates. As a result, the state’s Gini coefficient, a measure of income inequality, worsened at a faster pace than in most states over that time, moving to the fourth highest nationwide in 2013.

Well let's see:
#10 Massachusetts Repub Governor
#7 Idaho Repub Governor
#6 Louisiana Repub Governor
#3 Maine Repub Governor

My question to you is...Why are we ranked at all if the rethuglicons are for the "middle class" They have held the office for 10 years! The president has increased job creation in all 50 states!

Dear Liberal Moron,
That is what the Liberal Main Stream Media is distracting you with while Obama starts a nuclear arms race in the Middle East.

...just sitting there with egg on your face...hey let's change the subject...Well at least Pence knew he better get out of town and leave the other rethuglicons holding the bag...

Oh and the President starting an arms race? Do you include the countries of China, France, Russia, the United Kingdom and Germany that helped to come to the agreement? How does it feel to constantly on the wrong side of history all the time? YIKES!

Is the liberal media doing this?
Quote:
Gahl said Visit Indy received more than 800 emails from people saying they were canceling trips for events such as the Indianapolis 500 or choosing a different vacation destination.

Quote:
Two groups, including the public employee union AFSCME, have canceled conventions,

Traci Bratton, owner of the Hoosier Candle Company in Dayton, about 50 miles northwest of Indianapolis, said she's received emails from out-of-state customers who like her products but say they won't be bringing their business to Indiana because of the law.

Quote:
Indy Big Data, a tech convention slated for May, has lost nine national sponsors, including Amazon and Cloudera. GenCon, the city's largest convention, has a contract with the city until 2020, but Gahl said negotiations to extend the agreement for another five years could fall through because of the outcry over the law. A departure of GenCon, which brings in about $56 million each year, would be a huge loss, Gahl said.

Pence sure knows how to entice businesses doesn't he?
