Kerry: Obama “Will Go Down In History” For Having The “Highest Standards of Transparency And Accountability”
Image
In reality nothing could be further from the truth.

Quote:
The same day President Obama held a press conference about the growing scandal at the Department of Veterans Affairs, Secretary of State John Kerry faced the press in Mexico at a joint appearance with Mexican foreign secretary Jose Antonio Meade. Kerry was in the country to discuss trade, economic growth, higher education, and security cooperation, but a reporter asked Kerry some pointed questions about President Obama and his policies and actions regarding surveillance and deportation. Kerry responded with unequivocal support for the president, beginning, “Well, I believe President Obama will go down in history as the president who has held himself and his administration accountable to the highest standards of transparency and accountability.”

Kerry: Temps In Europe And Vietnam “Broke Every Record That’s Ever Been Seen” This Week – Reality: Not Even Close
Image
Lurch not being completely honest with us?

Quote:
Secretary of State John Kerry told an audience in Mexico on Wednesday that temperatures in Europe and in Vietnam were “unprecedented” and broke “every record that’s ever been seen.” However, although it was hot that day, he was off the mark.

Speaking at an environmentally-friendly technology event in Mexico City, Kerry said he had just caught a CNN weather report in his hotel and “saw the temperatures around the world right now.”

“Thirty-four degrees centigrade [Celsius] in Vietnam today, in May. Twenty-nine, thirty, thirty-two, thirty-three in places all around Europe,” he said. “Unprecedented. Breaks every record that’s ever been seen.”

“What we are seeing around the world is what scientists have predicted,” Kerry continued. “They’re not telling us that we may see global climate change. We are seeing it, and we’re seeing the impacts now.”

Wednesday was a hot day in Vietnam, with temperatures rising at their highest to 36 degrees celsius (96.8°F) at Tan Son Nhut international airport in Ho Chi Minh City. But according to Vietnam’s foreign ministry, the highest temperature recorded in May is 39°C (102.2°F) in Ho Chi Minh City, and 42°C (107.6°F) in Hanoi. The Hanoi record was registered in 1926.

The hottest places in Europe in the heat of the day on Wednesday, according to weatheronline.co.uk included parts of Russia, Germany, central Italy and southern Turkey, all in the 29-32°C (84-89°F) range.

The highest temperature ever recorded in European Russia was 44°C (111.2°F) in 2010; in Germany was 40.2°C (104.4°F) in 1983 and 2003; in Italy was 48.5°C (119.3°F) in 1999; and in Turkey was 48.8°C (119.8°F) in 1993.

Kerry: “We Don’t Do Foreign Policy By Polls” – Then Cites Poll Showing Opposition To Troops In Iraq
Image
As always, Lurch’s worst enemy is Lurch.

Quote:
Secretary of State John Kerry tells Fox News’s James Rosen that the Obama administration does not “do foreign policy by polls.” That, the sescretary of state said, is “a good thing.”

Kerry replied, “Well, look, it’s a good thing that we don’t do foreign policy by polls. That would be a tragedy and a huge mistake.”

[B]ut after saying that polls don’t dictate American foreign policy, Kerry then said that Americans don’t want troops in foreign wars, which limits the tools the administration has to solving the world’s problems.

“American people also don’t want American troops going into these places to fight the wars for these people. So there are very limited tools, very limited tools. And I believe we’ve just had a huge success in being able to get chemical weapons out of Syria. I think that right now we’re working hard here in Iraq to be able to pull together a unifying government, a competent government that’s prepared to be able to try to deal with some of the issues here,” said Kerry.

“So my real test will not be what the American people make a judgment about today. It will be what they make a judgment about when we finish, and then we’ll see what the legacy is.”

Rosen responded, “It sounds like you like the polls you like and you don’t like the polls you don’t like.”

John Kerry In Cuba: “I Feel Very Much At Home Here”
Image
Of course you do comrade, it’s run by Communists.

Friday, at the U.S. embassy in Cuba flag-raising ceremony celebrating the re-establishment of diplomatic relations, Secretary of State John Kerry said he felt “very much at home” in the country ruled by the authoritarian Castro regime.

Kerry said, “Thank you for joining us at this truly historic moment, as we prepare to raise the United States flag here at our embassy in Havana, symbolizing the re-establishment of diplomatic relations after 54 years. This is also the first time that a United States secretary of state has been to Cuba since 1945. This morning, I feel very much at home here, and I’m grateful to those who have come to share in this ceremony who are standing around outside of our facilities. And I feel at home here because this is truly a memorable occasion, a day for pushing aside old barriers and exploring new possibilities.”

State Department Wants To Give Iran Access To U.S. Financial System

Image

Shockingly, led by John Kerry.

The Obama administration is at odds over whether to give Iran access to the U.S. financial system, a move that is opposed by parts of the administration, according to communications exclusively obtained by the Washington Free Beacon.

Tensions have been brewing between the State and Treasury Departments over contradictory statements about U.S. efforts to boost Iran’s economy and give it unprecedented access to U.S. dollars, according to conversations with sources who described a deepening internal divide over the issue.

While top administration officials had promised Congress that such access would never be granted under last summer’s nuclear agreement, some in the administration have changed their tune.

Secretary of State John Kerry recently participated in a public diplomacy campaign to encourage European governments and businesses to reengage with Iran, a move that was undertaken at the behest of the Iranians, who had publicly griped that the Islamic Republic was not receiving enough economic benefits as promised under the nuclear deal.

Conway: John Kerry’s Criticism Of Paris Decision ‘Shows Why He Lost’

Image

John Kerry is a serial loser like his female counterpart Hillary Clinton.

White House counselor Kellyanne Conway is hitting back at former Secretary of State John Kerry after he criticized President Trump’s decision to pull the U.S. out of the Paris climate agreement.

“Once a politician always a politician,” Conway said Friday on Fox News of Kerry, the Democrats’ 2004 nominee for president.

“I think it’s a very disappointing assessment, and it tells you why he lost when he ran for president and why his friend Hillary Clinton lost this past time, because people don’t feel in this country like they put America first and the American worker first,” she added.
