DOJ Says Comey Wasn’t Honest In Senate Hearing

Image

Oops, now the DOJ is calling him a liar too.

Hey chuckmo48, are you in hiding because you were COMPLETELY WRONG AGAIN? Curious minds want to know

A Department of Justice spokesman denied several claims made by former FBI Director James Comey in a Senate hearing Thursday.

“Given Attorney General Sessions’ participation in President Trump’s campaign, it was for that reason, and that reason alone, the Attorney General made the decision on March 2, 2017 to recuse himself from any existing or future investigations of any matters related in any way to the campaigns for President of the United States,” DOJ spokesman Ian Prior said in a Thursday night statement.

Comey testified during the hearing that there is an undisclosed reason that might’ve been behind the attorney general’s recusal from the investigation into Russian election interference and possible collusion with the Trump campaign.

Dem Rep. Adam Schiff Admits There’s No ‘Proof’ Of Trump-Russia Collusion

Image

Translation: even the guy who has claimed for months that there was collusion is now forced to admit they got nada.

The 11-month-old investigation into whether President Trump or members of his campaign colluded with Russians has still not turned up any evidence that’s strong enough to put before a jury.

That’s according to California Rep. Adam Schiff, the ranking member on the House Intelligence Committee, which is overseeing one of the parallel investigations into whether members of the Trump campaign coordinated with the Kremlin to influence the outcome of the election.

“I’m not prepared to say that there’s proof you could take to a jury,” Schiff told ABC News’ Martha Raddatz on Sunday when asked if he’s seen proof of collusion.

Dem Sen. Chris Murphy: Our Non-Stop Rants About Russia Are Hurting The Party, Says His Constituents “Never” Talk About It

Image

Maxine Waters unavailable for comment.

Chris Murphy told MSNBC that his constituents in Connecticut are never talking about Russia when he speaks with them.

“The fact that we have spent so much time talking about Russia has, you know, has been a distraction from what should be the clear contrast between Democrats and the Trump agenda, which is on economics,” Murphy continued.

Murphy then told Geist that when he is back home in Connecticut, his constituents are “never” talking about the Russia issue like Democrats in Washington are.

“I have to say, they are never talking about issues like Russia. They are not talking, frankly, about what’s on cable news at night,” Murphy told Geist.

Three CNN Employees Resign Over Botched Trump-Russia Story

Image

They might as well turn out the lights and lock the doors if they're firing liars at CNN.

Three CNN employees have resigned from the company for their role in pushing a botched Trump-Russia story that claimed a member of the Trump transition team was under investigation.

Reporter Thomas Frank, editor Eric Lichtblau and executive editor Lex Haris all resigned from their positions following a company-wide investigation into the single-sourced story that was quickly debunked, The Washington Post first reported. CNN quickly followed up with a story of their own on the resignations. Lichtblau reportedly oversaw the false story, while Haris headed up CNN’s investigative unit.

“In the aftermath of the retraction of a story published on CNN.com, CNN has accepted the resignations of the employees involved in the story’s publication,” CNN’s coverage quotes a company spokesman as saying.

Uncovering the Russia ties of Hillary’s campaign chief

Image

Typical - this invertebrate scum is dirtier than an earthworm but crickets are all you get from the mainstream media. This is too close to home for them I'd bet, and besides the money trail will be connected to their "president", and to Obama and his State Department too.

No wonder chuckmo48 has gone into hiding.

Lawmakers failed to seize on an alarming development in the Russia collusion story last week, one that should spark serious and immediate congressional inquiry.

But it didn’t involve President Trump or his administration.

During a heated Fox Business interview with Maria Bartiromo, Hillary Clinton’s former campaign chief John Podesta made a series of misleading statements when questioned about his involvement in a company that received $35 million from the Russian government while Hillary served as secretary of state.

On Jan. 18, 2011, a small green-energy company named Joule Unlimited announced Podesta’s appointment to its board. Months later, Rusnano, a Kremlin-backed investment fund founded by Vladimir Putin, pumped $35 million into Joule. Serving alongside Podesta on Joule’s board were senior Russian official Anatoly Chubais and oligarch Ruben Vardanyan, who has been appointed by Putin to a Russian economic-modernization council.

Bartiromo asked Podesta why he failed to disclose his role in Joule as required by law when he entered the White House in January 2014 to serve as counselor to President Barack Obama.

“Maria, that’s not true. I fully disclosed and was completely compliant,” Podesta shot back.

But according to his own financial-disclosure form, Podesta only listed two of the three entities that made up Joule Unlimited, failing to disclose his presence on the board of the Dutch-registered Stichting Joule Global Foundation.

When Bartiromo pressed Podesta on the whereabouts of his 75,000 shares of Joule stock, Podesta resorted to Clintonesque semantics: “I didn’t have any stock in any Russian company!”

Notice the rhetorical sleight of tongue there: Joule is based in Massachusetts, not Russia, making Podesta’s statement technically true. Podesta added: “And by the way, I divested before I went into the White House.”

Donald Trump Jr. releases email chain on his Russian meeting

Quote:
Donald Trump Jr., agreed to meet with someone he believed to be a "Russian government attorney" last summer after receiving an email offering him "very high level and sensitive information" that would "incriminate" Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton, according to emails the younger Trump publicly released on Tuesday.

Quote:
"This is obviously very high level and sensitive information but is part of Russia and its government's support for Mr. Trump," Goldstone wrote in the email to Trump Jr.
"If it's what you say I love it," Trump Jr. replied, according to the email he released.

Russian Dirt on Clinton? ‘I Love It,’ Donald Trump Jr. Said
Quote:
He goes to say that releasing the information would be better late in the summer.

When was all those emails released...hmmm right before the election!!

Don't you look like as ass-clown now??? Keep defending these traitors...You continue to look totally foolish...

Liberal Legal Scholar Scoffs At Claims Donald Trump Jr. Guilty Of Treason

Image

Once again, the people doing the accusing are the ones who are actually behind the illegalities.

Liberal constitutional scholar Jonathan Turley laid to rest many of the claims Tuesday from the media and politicos of illegality and collusion surrounding Donald Trump Jr.’s meeting with a “Kremlin-connected” lawyer.

Turley, a legal scholar at George Washington University, batted away claims of criminality, asking “does any of this constitute a clear crime or even a vague inkblot image of a crime?” His answer: no, not on the facts.

Richard Painter, a former ethics lawyer in President George W. Bush’s administration, said on MSNBC Sunday that the meeting “borders on treason.” Turley notes the specificity of Article III of the Constitution’s delineation of what exactly constitutes treason — “levying war against [the United States], and “providing aid and comfort to the enemy.” Aside from the fact that the details discussed at the meeting — if any at all —regarding former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton are unknown, the encounter does not amount to treason.
