Surprise! Electoral college 'rebels' who wanted to stop Trump WERE in touch with Clinton campaign (and now movement's leader is facing prosecution)



We all knew Hillary and her 'bots' were in this up to their eyeballs. It's time for charges of sedition.

Senior advisors to Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign kept in touch by phone and email with a driver of the ill-fated, last-ditch effort to dump Donald Trump at the electoral college.

The advisors kept tabs on Colorado elector Micheal Baca, who was helping try to persuade Republican members of the Electoral College to vote against Trump. The effort ultimately flamed out, although a handful of Clinton electors ultimately ended up voting for other people.

Baca himself is facing prosecution for his decision to cast his vote for Ohio Republican Governor John Kasich rather than Clinton, notwithstanding a state law directing him to back Clinton and the oath he swore.

Some members of the group Hamilton Electors had spoken of trying to engineer a victory for Kasich as an alternative to Trump, arguing that Trump was unfit for office despite his winning 306 electoral votes

New poll shows even Dems are done with Hillary



Bill Clinton has been done with her for over 30 years. Hopefully the DOJ and FBI will not be done with her!

Former 2016 Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton may have won the popular vote, but the vast majority of voters said they don’t want to see her run again, a Suffolk University/USA TODAY poll released Wednesday found.

Of the Independents and Democrats surveyed, a whopping 62 percent of voters said she shouldn’t run in 2020, faring much worse than her primary challenger, Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders, who had just 38 percent saying he should opt out.

Just 23 percent said they were excited about the thought of her running again after President-elect Donald Trump won by a landslide in a surprise upset.

NBC’s Chuck Todd: Media Knew How ‘Hated’ Hillary Was In Heartland, We ‘Underplayed’ It

NBC’s Chuck Todd confessed that he and others in the mainstream news media played down just how despised Hillary Clinton was in the heartland due to the fear of appearing “sexist.”

What’s more, he admitted, the mainstream media failed to “tell the stories of all Americans.”

“Where I think political correctness got in the way of what we all knew as reporters and didn’t fully deliver was how hated the Clintons were in the heartland,” the “Meet the Press” host admitted Thursday to former Bush White House press secretary Ari Fleischer in a interview for the “1947” podcast.

“And I think it was a fear of, ‘Oh, is it going to look like it’s sexist, anti-woman if we say that?’” he added, pointing out that on the hustings he saw numerous “Hillary for Prison” signs adorning the front yards of rural America.

“I think we underplayed it a little bit out of political correctness fears,” Mr. Todd said. “No member of the press corps wants to look like they’re singling out a group and making a group feel bad, right, whatever that [group] is.
“If we sort of were straight-up honest and blunt about hey do we understand the level of hatred that’s out there and you know, all the Hillary for Prison signs that are out there, we certainly would have at least made the viewer know, hey, you know, she’s not well-liked in some places in this country in ways that’s times 10 when it comes to Trump,” he said.
