Nice spin...Flynn talked to the Russians and didn't tell about it. Sessions lied and now is lying again and probably will be brought back to congress...Must suck to watch this fiasco!

One is in voluntary service to our country, the other was arrested for rioting and disorderly conduct.

Sessions Gives Pink Slip To Virtually All U.S. Attorneys Appointed By Obama

This also happened under Clinton. He fired attorneys on day 1, but that will be forgotten by the lamestream media tomorrow when the attacks start.

Attorney General Jeff Sessions on Friday asked the remaining 46 U.S. attorneys appointed by President Obama to resign.

According to the Justice Department, those resignations will “ensure a uniform transition.”

“Until the new U.S. attorneys are confirmed, the dedicated career prosecutions in our U.S. Attorney’s Offices will continue the great work of the department in investigating, prosecuting, and deterring the most violent offenders,” said spokeswoman Sarah Isgur Flores in a statement Friday afternoon.

We now know why 45 made sure this attorney was fired:

Fired US attorney Preet Bharara said to have been investigating HHS secretary Tom Price

Former US Attorney Preet Bharara, who was removed from his post by the Trump administration last week, was overseeing an investigation into stock trades made by the president’s health secretary, according to a person familiar with the office.

Tom Price, head of the Department of Health and Human Services, came under scrutiny during his confirmation hearings for investments he made while serving in Congress. The Georgia lawmaker traded hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of shares in health-related companies, even as he voted on and sponsored legislation affecting the industry.

Everyone of these deplorables came from 45's swamp.

Good thing that Hillary wasn't elected she turned $1,000.00 into 100,000.00 in 11 months. Never having traded before or ever after again.

GOP Invokes Nuclear Option

Image

Democrats started it in 2013. Good on GOP for finishing it now.

WASHINGTON — Senate Republicans invoked the “nuclear option” Thursday, overturning the body’s rules so Neil Gorsuch could be confirmed to the Supreme Court with a simple majority vote.

The vote — entirely along party lines — was 52 to make the change and 48 against.

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell said the change — from 60 to 51 votes — was necessary to break a Democratic filibuster intended to block the Colorado appellate judge.

“This will be the first — and last — partisan filibuster of a Supreme Court nomination,” McConnell said of the history-making step.

Democrats Are Outraged Over Kansas House Seat Loss

Image

Ah....another deliciously refreshing glass of Liberal Leftist tears of defeat.

Republicans continued their electoral winning streak on Tuesday night in the first congressional election of the Trump administration.

Republican Ron Estes beat Democrat James Thompson to be the next representative for the fourth congressional district of Kansas. Estes won 52.5 percent of the vote while Thompson took 45.7 percent of the vote. The seat was vacated by former congressman Mike Pompeo after he was confirmed to be director of the Central Intelligence Agency for the Trump administration.

The margin of victory for Tuesday's election was closer than in the 2016 election. In November, Pompeo won reelection in the district by 32 percent, while President Donald Trump won the district by 27 percent.

Now that the election is over, Democrats are trying to figure out who is to blame for the loss, and Twitter exploded with finger pointing. Some believe that the Democratic national party abandoned the race, while others argue that if the national party got involved, it would have hurt Thompson.

Former President Barack Obama's speechwriter Jon Favreau said the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) shouldn't ignore races like the one in Kansas.
