Northwest Indiana Discussion

Well not just China. I hear the shots are all imported from China, Australia, and someplace in Europe. But the spray has a US maker.

So while there's a whole debate about the vaccines themselves and whether they are both safe & effective now comes the issue of why the US has outsourced the medicines. Granted it's not exactly the same thing but when you consider how many Chinese toys get recalled and how many inferior consumer items are made there I'm surprised there's not more of an uproar that we now trust them to keep us healthy. Gotta love the irony there! especially after Obama just slapped a 30% tax in Chinese made tires that YOU pay for because the Chinese are too competitive.

But add to that growing dependence on China comes the tiny little issue that they don't trust our fiat money anymore and want to get paid in other currencies. So it looks like if our dollars become worthless abroad we'll become a 3rd world country after years of shelling out tons of cash to build up 3rd world countries. And yet the massive deficit spending plans continue.

So maybe whether the massive healthcare bureaucracy package passes or not is almost a moot point since we won't have the money to pay the Chinese and we'll all die of the flu anyway.
