College to interns: Stay away from Letterman
New York Post

A Connecticut college has warned students interning for late-night, skirt-chasing TV funnyman David Letterman to stay at arm's length from the host. A rep from Quinnipiac University told the celebrity Web site TMZ that ''due to recent circumstances we will have a discussion with those in charge of placing our interns at the David Letterman show in the future.''

What makes him a "pervert?" None of the girls were underage or forced.
He sure isn't the first old horny toad to see an opportunity with a pretty young woman and take it.
He's NOT "toast."
None of the girls filed complaints, so I think this whole thing will blow over with time.
He's also NOT ugly. He's a smart, funny, rich guy. All in all, attractive to some women.

Hmmmmmm.....so it's OK for an employer to bed his employees as long as they are willing..?

Smart, funny, and rich means it's OK to use your position and power to have affairs with your younger staff employees...?

Methinks if it was Rush or Hannity or Glenn Beck, you would be singing a much different tune.
Most likely you would be screaming for their heads to roll and for them to be fired.

It's very illustrative when liberals are faced with one of their own doing the things they profess to abhor. All of the sudden, it's A-OK for men of power and influence to seduce young interns and to use their postion as an employer in order to gain sexual favors from employees.

NOW (National Organization for Women) doesn't seem to like it very much.

Absolutely fascinating.... :smt006

I don't care what NOW or any other group or person thinks. My opinion is my own. I think you need to realize people of a liberal bent like myself do not think as a group. We are individuals.

This kind of thing happens in workplaces all the time.

It's probably not a particularly good thing, but sometimes it works out. In fact, his wife used to work for him, they got together and the rest is history.

Indeed.

The history is that he used his position as an employer and boss to seduce young women who worked for him.

Letterman's wife forced him to grovel on national TV and apologize to her for being a leacherous cad.

As for these things happening all the time, so does murder, child abuse, and theft.

Does the frequency of a certain activity legitimize it and make it acceptable...?

IMO, there is a kind of ugly that money will not cover. As for being a pervert, he sure is. Remember his remarks about Palin's UNDERAGE daughter??? THAT was NOT funny. He sure is also not smart at all, cause' he thinks with the head that has no brain. He is nothing but a sleaze, and I hope his wife rakes that pos over the coals but good in divorce court. We will see how rich he is after his wife gets done with him.

Have you asked his wife how well it 'worked out' this time around?

Well duh. I'm sure she's feeling resentful being the first wife in history to be cheated on.

Seriously, they have a son he seems to love a great deal.

They both look at 14 year-old girls as sex objects.

I was unaware Letterman was fooling around with a 14-year old. Do you have a link where I could read about that?
