Quote: all your bullshit is 2-3 years old Tsk,tsk, grape is lying & making up crap yet again. Besides, the repukes have learned from the last two & three years not to cross their boss. Exactly why they haven't lately, they fricken' know better. They're scared to death of boss Limbaugh becuse there are millions of SFB, mindless, ditto heads that worship & listen to every word. Darrell Issa is the latest Republican to apologize to Leader Limbaugh October 19, 2010 5:34 pm ET by Oliver Willis Republican Rep. Darrell Issa made a very big mistake. In an interview with the Wall Street Journal, he said the following about what Republicans should do if they're successful in the fall elections. "It's pretty clear the American people expect us to use the existing gridlock to create compromise and advance their agenda," said Rep. Darrell Issa (R., Calif.). "They want us to come together [with the administration] after we agree to disagree." This is not what Rush Limbaugh wanted to hear. Attacking Issa and other establishment Republicans at the top of today's show, Limbaugh said the idea of compromise would push people away from the GOP and into a third party - and that compromising with the Democrats was akin to compromise with the Taliban. It appears Limbaugh's audience voiced their concerns to Issa's staff and the congressman was soon a guest of Limbaugh's in order to genuflect. |

Quote: Obama’s Economic Record:
The Worst Since Hoover Commentary Magazine, by Jonathan Tobin I wanted to add to John’s post regarding today’s Labor Department report on unemployment. Right now we’re nowhere near where we need to be in order to make a significant dent in the unemployment rate. (To bring it down a percentage point over a year takes roughly 200,000 additional jobs per month.) In addition, unemployment has been at or above 9 percent for 28 out of the last 30 month, with no relief in sight. The Obama administration not only promised the unemployment wouldn’t exceed 8 percent if its stimulus package passed; based on their projections, the unemployment rate today should be right around 6.5 percent. Rex Nutting, a columnist and MarketWatch’s international commentary editor, points out that the economy is creating jobs so slowly that at the current pace of hiring (an average of 119,000 jobs per month in 2011), the unemployment rate would stay stuck at 9 percent for five more years. The pace of hiring is so weak, in fact, that the economy wouldn’t get back to full employment (around 6 percent) until 2023. If we hope to bring the jobless rate back down to 6 percent by the end of 2014, we’d need job growth about twice as strong as it’s been (244,000 a month v. 119,000). http://www.commentarymagazine.com/2011/ ... rd-hoover/ |

'Company Policy: We are not hiring until Obama is gone' WACO, Ga. -- A west Georgia business owner is stirring up controversy with signs he posted on his company's trucks, for all to see as the trucks roll up and down roads, highways and interstates: "New Company Policy: We are not hiring until Obama is gone." "Can't afford it," explained the employer, Bill Looman, Tuesday evening. "I've got people that I want to hire now, but I just can't afford it. And I don't foresee that I'll be able to afford it unless some things change in D.C." Looman's company is U.S. Cranes, LLC. He said he put up the signs, and first posted pictures of the signs on his personal Facebook page, six months ago, and he said he received mostly positive reaction from people, "about 20-to-one positive." |
