So who can we encourage to run against the Dems since neither Klein or Katz is acceptable. This is where I am pissed at the GOP leadership for backing Klein and not offering us someone better. With candidates like this the GOP will never win back congress.

Fran Katz is the best candidate for anything I have seen in years.

She was Vice President of Research at Fortune 500 Company, American Maize, for 15 years.

She was President-Elect of that Fortune 500 Company when it was taken over by Cerestar.

She has an MBA from the University of Chicago.

She turns adversaries into friends and supporters.

She is one of the most respected women in the U.S. in the food and agricuture industries.

Oh great, then maybe she should apply to the Food and Drug Administration. What does this have to do with politics? Washington would chew her up and spit her out like a grape seed.

Have you even read her platform page? It doesn't even make sense let alone state a position. And speaking of positions, nowhere does it state her position on abortion, the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, nuclear proliferation, immigration or any other major issue.

Try to call her headquarters and you get no answer, just a voice mailbox with the default settings still in place. At least she could have set up her voice mail. She does not even have an email address. Fran apparently has no computer skills, writing skills or political experience and you want to send her to Washington?

I could just imagine the kind of legislation she would write: The Fran and Ally bill to replace soy beans with kidneys beans in order to supply much needed kidney transplant organs.

Actually, she in running for the Indiana State House of Representatives in Indianapolis.

I just called her campaign headquarters at 219-613-1842 (the telephone number on her campaign literature, facebook page, website, and blog) and received the information I requested from a very polite staff member.

I have met her personally and find her to be the most qualified candidate in Northwest Indiana. She is qualified to be the head of a Fortune 500 company and more than qualified for any political office.

How ironic is this. The local tabloid, specializing in yellow journalism, endorses Klein, a Chicago style politician specializing in back stabbing.
