The FBI is interviewing Crown Pointers and asking questions like:

What happened to Eric Hammond – Klein’s Director of Economic Development who signed checks for $380,000 to Plasmatronics without Board knowledge. He is not readily available and the FBI would like to talk to him.

Why would Dan Klein push $380,000 out the Crown Point door to Plasmatronics without ever seeing a Plasmatronics balance sheet, income statement or hard evidence the Plasmatronics device worked and saved fuel as represented.

Who received the $255,000 that Plasmatronics transferred to K-2 Construction Co. supposedly to build out the Plasmatronics building. The buildout was exceedingly limited and much of the $255,000 seems to have evaporated

Was it Dan Klein who told Kevin Keough to just show up and vote, as the swing vote to approve the Plasmatronics loan. Keough held a seat that was supposed to be appointed by the CP Chamber of Commerce. But Chamber President Gayle Replin and Chamber Executive Director Gayle Van Sessen said they never appointed Keough and he was not even a Chamber of Commerce member. Keough was the third vote on the five man board, and Eric Hammond as President of the Board counted the vote to approve the Plasmatronics loan.

He was the only mayor in the U.S. that refused to allow a sign honoring the 9/11 heroes.

That made AP, UP and the national press.

Dan Klein is claiming that there is no FBI investigation and the people who have been interviewed by the FBI are all lying and the newspaper reports are all wrong.

Klein's been caught fibbing red handed and he doesn't know what to do.

Kein asked why he hasn't been interviewed yet.

It's probably because the FBI leaves the targets to be interviewed last.

I just can not believe all the Dan Klein signs in people's yards. What is wrong with people? I mean do these people really like the man(?), are their heads that far up their azz's that they don't know what's going on with this man or what? This world is really screwed with all the stupid people here today.

What is going on here can only be described as bizarre.

Klein is under investigation by the FBI and the evidence of impropriety is very strong.

He is telling the State GOP leadership lies that there is no FBI investigation, and they believe him.

The State of Indiana GOP is spending large amounts of money to ressurect his political image which means nothing if the FBI investigation leads to what appears the inevitable outcome.

It is probably the result of young, relatively inexperience State political operatives, like Gentry and Ordway, handling other people's money.

Also, here's an interesting tidbit. Anyone who wants to know anything about Plasmatronics is going to find this thread in particular in the top 10 of Google search.
