I understand that the FBI wants to know whether the Sheepscot 9450 Double Acting Dispensing System produced by Exact Resin Dispensing Systems of Newcastle, Maine, purchased by Plasmatronics, Inc. on October 16, 2007, was ever installed at the Plasmatronics building.

Word is that the $26,000 machine was filched along with about $200,000 that was skimmed during the Klein administration.

There is only one way to fight political corruption - elect honest public officials like Sue Landske, Ed Soliday, Hank Adams, Bill Fine, Mark Schweitzer, Christie Dressel, Larry Blanchard etc.

You might want to reevalute that list!

You're right cheerleader. We don't have tolerate political corruption. It's time to say "We're mad as He11" and elect some honest candidates.

The Uran administration has already spent over $200,000 on legal fees to lawyers who almost all contribute to Uran's war-chest.

Plasmatronics settlement judgment delayed

BY SUSAN ERLER susan.erler@nwi.com, (219) 662-5336 nwi.com | Posted: Saturday, September 25, 2010 12:00 am

CROWN POINT | City officials' legal request for a final judgment against New York-based Plasmatronics has been delayed until a new judge is appointed to handle the case.

The lawyer who'd represented Plasmatronics sought a new judge after the previous judge failed to rule in a timely manner on several motions, City Attorney David Nicholls said.

Resolution of the matter in Marion Superior Court could take another month or two, Nicholls said.

Final judgment of $379,746 was sought by the city early this month after Plasmatronics allegedly breached a loan agreement with the Crown Point Development Corp.

The nearly $380,000 is what the city already had paid to Plasmatronics of a $500,000 loan it offered the company as part of an economic incentives package to locate in Crown Point, where the company said it planned to manufacture its Plasma Drive Ignition System.

The Development Corp. sued in July 2008 to recover the money after Plasmatronics terminated its relationship with the city.

The corporation also on Friday agreed to a $7,000 settlement from Moress LLC, which was to lease space to Plasmatronics for a company headquarters.

Members of the Development Corp. met Friday and agreed to begin legal proceedings to dissolve the corporation.

The corporation was created to be the lending body for the Crown Point Redevelopment Commission, which granted public money to the corporation so it could issue loans for development purposes, including to Plasmatronics.

The corporation Friday authorized its president, Sarah Polman, to assign any legal rights, duties or responsibilities the corporation may have to a new entity, the Crown Point Community Development Corp. The existing development corporation currently holds no assets or liabilities, member Kent Jeffirs said.

Mayor David Uran is listed as the sole principal of the new entity, the Crown Point Community Development Inc. on incorporation articles filed on Sept. 18, 2009, with the Indiana secretary of state's office.

Directors listed on the incorporation articles are Keith Stevens, who is Uran's chief of staff, along with Aaron McDermott, John Mullins, Stephen Figurski and Polman.

Stevens and Figurski, like Polman, are members of the existing Development Corp.

Polman said Friday she intends to let Uran know she won't be serving on the new development corporation. Mullins said he agreed a year ago to be a corporation director at Uran's request.

Uran said Friday the new corporation has not yet met, and that while not all future meetings will be open to the public any meetings where public money is discussed will be open to the public.

Any wonder the REAL reason for asking for a new judge (which their lawyers knew would take some time)?

Members of the Development Corp. met Friday and agreed to begin legal proceedings to dissolve the corporation.

I think they need to expedite finding a new judge and be sure that dissolving the company doesn't make the money go bye, bye forever. Sounds like an attempt to defraud the city further IMO.

It is impossible to distinguish between the business practices of Plasmatronics and the Uran administration.

They both screw over the public for money.

The Uran administration has spent over $200,000 (about $250,000) on lawyers to recover $3,000 for the City of Crown Point and continues to run up legal fees at $375 to $400 per hour.

And the Dan Klein Administration loaned $380,000 to Plasmatronics without seeing financials or evidence the Plasmatronics device worked.

Could the reason for dissolving the corporation be a cover-up of the Plasmatronics debacle and theft of public funds by the Uran Administration. Can't think of any other reason.

Clearly, the Uran Administration is afraid of questions by Board members of their bogus settlement with Plasmatronics and their dishonest practices.

What is sad is that if they are allowed to dissolve the company and get out of paying the money back they will in all probability open this scam up yet again somewhere else under a new name. Without the seed money it makes the con a little harder to pull off.

You could be referring to the Plasmatronic's scam, although the FBI is investigating Plasmatronics

or the next Uran Administration scam, which is called "Bo Jackson Stadium,"

or the Dan Klein scam which he is trying to take on the road to Indianapolis.

Plasmatronics, Uran, Klein and Pabey are all cut from the same cloth.

Dan Klein is claiming to have set up an ethics committee.

If it was real, it should have looked into Klein's Plasmatronics debacle,

Actually, the ethics committee has never done anything, It was created solely so that Klein could claim he set up an ethics committee.

New judge named in Plasmatronics case

CROWN POINT | A new judge has been appointed to hear a case involving New York-based Plasmatronics and the Crown Point Development Corp.

Marion County Circuit Court Judge Louis Rosenberg was named by the Supreme Court of Indiana to hear the city's request for a final judgment against Plasmatronics, Crown Point City Attorney David Nicholls said Thursday.

Plasmatronics sought the new judge saying a previous judge failed to rule in a timely manner on several motions, Nicholls said.

The city is seeking final judgment of $379,746 after Plasmatronics allegedly breached a loan agreement with the Crown Point Development Corp.

The nearly $380,000 is what the city paid to Plasmatronics of a $500,000 loan it offered the company in an economic incentives package to locate in Crown Point, where the company said it planned to manufacture its Plasma Drive Ignition System.

The Development Corp. sued in July 2008 in Marion County Superior Court to recover the money after Plasmatronics terminated its relationship with the city.

No hearing date on the matter has been set, Nicholls said Thursday.

The city of Crown Point has spent over $250,000 for legal fees on this case, virtually all to attorneys who contribute to Mayor Uran’s campaign fund. For this $250,000, it appears that the city will recover $10,000 - $3,000 from Plasmatronics and $7,000 from Moress LLC who owns the building Plasmatronics leased and benefited slightly from the buildout. This case is not about recovering money for Crown Point. It is about running up legal fees for the lawyers and the Uran warchest. This is pure East Chicago – style corruption. The city loses but the administration makes out like bandits.
